Joe D made the right move and as you said trading down to 19TH pick we dont know for sure if there would be a OL. Taking Olu was the best move for the Oline especially with older tackles. Also i think be did really well in the draft

I definitely wouldve done it..still couldve taken brian thomas jr or fautanu at 19 plus wouldve had all those additional picks from the trade..all we did is take someone with a 1st round pick that likely isnt playing in a win now year if our oline is healthy

I would take the 3 picks for sure, draft is a gamble more tickets better the chances you hit on someone. Also I’m not a fan of picking a backup at 11.

Without knowing what the Jets medical report on Fontanu was making, this decision is tricky. IMO, drafting a player like Fontanu gets you a good player at multiple positions but not a great one st any of those spots. I'm good not making the trade.

We can admit that if JD made this trade we would be showering it with praise. We sre always going to homer up with the moves the jets make

Olu was the best choice for Aaron. The best pass protector in the last few drafts according to some draft experts. That is by far the right decision!

I wouldn't have dropped that far back. Sometimes you gotta avoid getting too cute and just make the pick. Especially when you have two aging OT's, one of them being a HOF but guaranteed to miss at least 2-3 games based on his history. Olu was viewed as the best pure pass blocker in the draft. I'd rather him over a guy that might have had medical red flags.

i know this is kind of a madden-like idea, but i feel if you trade back with the rams and they take brock bowers, you know denver is going qb, so why not call up LV to trade back up? then you get your guy in olu and still have more draft capital. either way still love how JD handled this draft class

If Olu turns out to be the long term answer at LT it was absolutely the right move. Especially if we have a great season and go into next year with a 1st rnd pick in the mid 20s. He was the 2nd best LT in the draft. Let’s Hope Olu is a pro bowl LT
