I really hope you've enjoyed this series as much as I have! It's been a while since I've had a video project that I'm consistently excited to work on, but this one definitely reignited that flame. So it's pretty safe to say this type of content is here to stay, especially if my channel continues to grow. Looks like a made some new 'friends' with my little joke about a4 vs. s4! Please understand this was meant to be a playful joke - I'm a big fan of the 3.0 s4. And honestly it's a better car in every possible way, no way around it. Hopefully we can still joke with each other without taking things so seriously (no I'm definitely not rich, or pretending to be). Thank you to my close friends with S4s for being good sports and not hating me 😂

Lol those S4 owners are dicks! I know cause I am one of them Bahahahaha In all seriousness though. Dude you’re doing what many only wish they could do. Modding and hot rodding is as old as cars themselves, BUT!!! It doesn't matter what the car is, so much as your enjoying what your doing. Anyone can pay someone to do the work for them, but when you talk to owners at meets and shows, oh yah you know the guys who do the work themselves, their enthusiasm and pride show when you ask them about their ride. Keep up the great work! Side note. I had a B7 A4 (first Audi) I have always been a VW guy, after owning an Audi, oh yah there is a difference.

Better. Buddy I got the 2.0t over the S4 for better balance and lighter nose for track. This is where the A4 is better for handling. My A4 current state feels like a GT3 RS where as the S4 feels like a street saloon which is what it is.

It takes just as much time if not more to film and edit as it does to install. Trust me, when you're in a build this in depth, that's the last thing you want to do. Huge props to Flink for taking the time and considerable amount of effort to do both for our benefit.

Congrats on the project completion. I have really enjoyed watching this build series, particularly your honesty throughout. As DIY garage builders, mistakes are inevitable and it's important to learn from them while also not trying to break all your toys and call it quits. I can't imagine the mental toll it would take on me removing the engine 3 times! Also, great cinematography, it's clear that is a passion of yours as well. Keep up the good work!

All the searches I've done for the b8 a4 on KZfaq Idk how your vids slipped through but I'm starting at the beginning. Just wanna say love what you've done with the car and that stance...perfection! Looking forward to seeing the progress and subscribed for hopeful future updates. I'm sure like every upgrade so far my ko4 install will leave me wanting more. When asked why I continue to dump money in my car the answer is simple. I love seeing the look on their face when I tell them it's just an A4 lol Its also what I could reasonably and responsibly afford at the time. Thanks for sharing your videos and experience.

Fascinated by the outcome on this. Here in the UK we seem to be restricted to stage 1 only maps now (pre baked). Ofc still got full custom options. Respect to the tenacity shown. 💪👏

I just put the IE stage 2 on my mostly stock 2014 A4... It was a tremendous improvement. I'd love to do what you did to mine! I also have a B5 A4 with a Boost Dynamic stage 2, will soon be a K04. Another car I'd love to build and big turbo. Neither of which will probably happen. My kids are expensive enough! Glad you got her going and that it really was worth it! Can't wait to see numbers! Enjoy it... That's what car are for! And thank you for documenting the journey.

Dope build. Upgraded to a B8.5 S4 - Came from a B8 A4 and never got to building it like you did because of fueling with big turbo setups. I just didn't want to dive too deep. Makes me happy to see people doing what I at one point envisioned the car to be. - Wisconsin Repping Strong

Great build! I've been considering adding more power to my 2014 A4 allroad however, it's the daily family ride so I've hesitated. It's got over 95k and has had zero issues. I'm currently living vicariously through your videos....Thanks!

You are honestly the best person and i'm kinda sad I didn't find you until just now. Thank you for being the guinea pig. I've got the oil burn issue that's painfully common with these cars and am torn between going the route you've gone and trading up. Seeing you though.... and what I truly want, I think this is the route I'm going. Would be a huge help if you had a parts list lmfao thanks again dude!

You have to explain the tuning process. Like what did it take to work with UM? Fueling stuff. Things to watch out for... ect. I plan on going with the boss 600 myself. My motor is built. Currently I'm APR map with an HPA k04. CTS kit was not out at the time i started the project. A lot of people jumped off the B8 A4/A5 platform when APR stopped development on their EFR kit. I'm glad to see that we have options again. Also i went with the A4 over the S4 for the some reasons. Keep up the good work! Thank you for not making is look easy like so many KZfaqrs do.

I love your motor I'm in the process of modifying my a4b7 2.0 tfsi convertible. Just got my stage 2 tune with all recommended mods amd flashed the car for me .not sure weather big brakes and suspension is next or big turbo getting a uprated clutch fitted next week and loving every step of the way. Just wish I had a garage like you. Keep up the good work.

I loved the box humor 😂 very cool to see you catching your dreams on this thing. Also, portable garage heater! They're under $100 and work decent if you need to get stuff done in the garage in winter and don't have built in heat. Would be good to get small stuff done here and there. I had the same aluminum manifold installed on my 2012 B4 Avant. As Integrated Engineering mentions, there is virtually no turbo lag. This car just keeps on pulling.

Yeah, the S4 could also had some pretty expensive maintenance or repair jobs, so might not ended up cheaper. Plus people like underdogs more)

@@FlinkFilms lol, one engine and one transmission gear selector lever sensor later, it doesn’t feel that much fun anymore) it had the trans pulled out 2 times during my ownership, one time by the shop to get that sensor replaced and another time by myself to replace the clutch plates and cover plate with bearing. The engine got flooded by leaking supercharger intercooler cores, so I pulled the entire drivetrain with engine, subframe and trans to get it replaced. If a shop did all of this, I would have been well into e90 m3 territory or what they cost a year ago when I bought my “A4 3.0T”. Probably should had bought a 335i instead or the m3.
