Kris being a fellow arcane fan is something I never knew I needed in life but here we are ✨ I love SO many characters but my fav probably has to be Caitlyn bc I relate to her a lot not just in a sense we have similar names and interests but personality as well. She is passionate and has a willingness to prove herself and help people. She’s kind and sympathetic and does right by everyone equally and uses her skills and privilege to help people rather than hurt them.

Jinx hands down, she really is the driving force of everything and everyone in Arcane. A lot of what makes the other characters likeable and or understandable comes from their relationship with her. Her action (though reactions to other characters most times) make the most change throughout the story, if one were to remove a character from the show removing jinx would make it so much less dimensional and interesting. As well as her just being fun, crazy, smart, esthetically pleasing, and a wildcard that makes things less predictable and therefore more engaging.

Weird ass thing - I had a talk with my psychotherapist yesterday and regarding selfcare and selfworth issues, she dropped this take of the century on me: "Think of people giving you compliments. Tell these compliments to yourself again. Mean them. Don't treat yourself badly." And I had to think about your neat compliments, you give to us viewers in the beginning of your vids and yeah, I realized, they are a source of self worth. Thank you, Kris.

@@Rawr350. Really… It was at an appointment as to that a year and half ago I got that response from the psychiatrist as to my bi polar and anxiety. But last December it gets worse. I go to VA as I am a U.S. Navy vet. I also served for a time in the French Army. I went in for a cardiology check ( heart is 100% perfect ) as it was injured during a surgery, healed now. Anyway, they asked how I was doing with mental state. Fine … but my mom who I am sole caregiver had developed a junk mail addiction, and I need suggestions help dealing with this… she is a “German Lady” and difficult you know all the NAZIs where raised by them. So they sad I could talk to a psychologist if I would stay after my heart appointment… so I walked into the meeting room and two Fed. Police and a psychiatric nurse where there and the door was locked behind me. They said strip and put on pajamas I said I did not have time as mom needed dinner and I had long drive home. No I was being detained… so I asked for what investigative reason … no answer … then I stated as they could not answer there where two US Supreme Court cases saying they had about 10 seconds to release me. They said I was being detained and would not be let go… so I asked for both probable cause for this and them to state under what law… could not answer. So I informed them they were in violation of my habeas corpus rights and demanded to be taken to the Federal Court a block away to request immediate hearing as to an extraordinary writ of habeas corpus hearing with the urgent motions judge assigned for that day… the court was during business hours so no one would need to come in from home for the hearing; these are always heard promptly. But they promptly strip searched and gave me the pajamas to wear and my cloths and effects where taken, then I was looked up. They found my legally licensed carry pistol… and took it showing me a citation for having on VA property. I informed them that was unconstitutional 4th amendment search and taking… and that 4 months before the US Supreme Court had settled the law on carrying a gun on Federal property… in the Buren case with only restrictions being the meeting rooms and chambers of Congress, and meeting rooms and court rooms of Federal courts excluded… that the VA agency action as to firearms was unconstitutional. Anyway, I was held for nearly two weeks with no outside communication. They still have the gun which has a replacement value of $1800…. In process of replacement now. Anyway they say I am an extreme danger to myself for having a gun…. legally. The psychiatrists say I am no danger but that it is a bureaucratic ploy as to firearms carrying in retaliation by the Biden Administration to various losses in court. I note I almost never carry a gun but we had seven break- ins to the garage with many thousands of dollars stolen and a collector Lotus car badly damaged… and two home invasions all stemming from a gardener I employed and later fired… these where happening the 2-3 prior to the incident at the VA… I had been assaulted with a combat knife that was stolen on my rear kitchen porch about mid-night two days before visiting the VA police did nothing. So I was carrying the gun for this reason. The knife attack I very luckily was not cut as I was able to kick the 280 lbs 6’4” attacker down the porch stairs in the dark… scary. I note in the Army I had been badly cut during an hand to hand combat situation in Chad… so I know how dangerous edged weapons are so better to have a weapon than nothing other than your fierceness and determination. I am a cancer too and have a similar personality in my private life but you have to be serious in work and business. It is amazing she is more popular than much of commercial TV… worry for her as she does not understand she is so much better off not associated with Hollywood or the tied to ad contracts sure hope she does not do a deal with McDonalds … and she does not understand her valve to them… which of course they would exploit.

1:54 I totally agree! Arcane is my favorite show of the last decade (no, I'm not joking). The story telling was superb, the character development was *chef's kiss*, and the emotions were everything in season 1. That being said, I will wait as long as I have to for a second season. I want them to do it right, take their time, and absolutely knock it out of the park. The first season took, like, seven years to make, I believe? I think season 2 should take less time than that, but I want them to be patient with it and not sacrifice quality. My favorite character was..... oh god, don't do this to me! Why do you make me choose???? Ummm, Vi was my favorite, mostly because I played her in the game as my main jungler for years. I love all the characters, though. :D

They're also so intense and real and flawed and not washed out for the general consumption of media in this dulled out world looking for easy resolutions and things to be black and white. Yo, can relate to being 1000% addicted to Arcane S1. Probably watched it several times now. The story. Dialogue. Characters. Musical score. Each time you watch it you uncover more. And the fact that Vi is voiced by Hailee Steinfeld (🥵), and Caitlyn is voiced by Katie Leung aka actor for live action Cho Chang is what really destroys me. It's magnificent.

2:47 I have to sleep on the floor (with pillows and a lot of blankets of course) because my cat had kittens on my bed and she won't let anybody move them. But laying on the floor has definitely helped my back and neck problems, along with waking up in the morning

@@ivonnematos4934 Well she doesn't think she is and neither do you.... Perhaps you're both just as wrong? I'm pretty sure that Kris is as beautiful as she is because she is the kind of person she is. It amplifies her looks and if you are the same way, someone empathetic and caring then trust me, you are beautiful to everyone who knows you. I'm just big. 7'1 powerbuilder (used to be a VERY skinny kid, got into weight lifting and now I'm just big in every way) and now that's just what people see "whoa, you're big"... OK... yeah, I suppose I am.

The not taking a call and forgetting about it, making it worse by waiting for months to reconnect out of shame is so on point. In combination with not communicating during prolonged bouts of depression many a friendships have been destroyed that way. I‘m seriously considering working hours for calls. What are your systems to get a better handle on this guys?
