I love when Jeffrey lets Vada keep the videos of her mother. She needed them more than him and most importantly he will always have the memories of Vada mother.

Best line in the whole film is when Vada asks him if he has any photographs of her mother and he says "Ive got something better..."

I’ve been singing this song to my daughter since she was a baby. I recently recorded myself singing it and hid it on my computer just in case anything happens.

What a beautiful woman! I can see why Harry proposed to her on their second date.

I remember watching Vadas mom sing in this video and when i had to visit my baby brother for the first time at the hospital I sang that to him. She taught me how to be a big sister.

Wow, haven't seen this scene in nearly 25 years and yet this song has never left my heart. So beautiful to finally see this and be able to hear Vada's mom's beautiful voice singing it. Nat King Cole's version is nice as well but I find this version especially lovely! Thanks for sharing =)

My mom died when I was 15, and Ive always loved the "My girl" movies...My mom and I used to watch them together all the time when I was little.....Im a lot like Vada, a free spirit, and a writer. Whenever I see this scene I cant help but think of my mom and smile = )
