Ridiculous price for a breakfast.

Regarding dogs in eateries some people have similar views about children in pubs. Personally I don’t object to either as long as they are well behaved and don’t disturb people wanting to have a quiet drink/meal. If we take our dog with us she lies right under the table and does not beg for food. Another great video Lee.

Looked great but £25 for a breakfast I'd expect to pay that in a top class hotel in London.

It’s great to see it’s dog friendly. My little pup came everywhere with us. Being poorly and senior he was often in a dog buggy but he was better behaved than ALL the children we came across. Fortunately Western Australia has a lot of dog friendly cafes but sitting outside is doable with our climate.

Looked really good, but having to pay extra for the the hash browns (which I’d never go for anyway) is a bit cheeky, so a point down right away, HP in sachets another no-no and the overall price is a tad dear so a 7 for me no matter how tasty it was

That's a fair plateful and well presented HOWEVER , I would never eat vine tomatoes and beans on the same plate. Either beans OR plum tomatoes. It's like eating Chicken Kiev then covering it with gravy. Your point about HP sauce coming in packets was spot on.

Good Evening Lee. The Wonderful City of Leeds. Used to be know as the Party City. The Farmhouse Restaurant. This was one of those Off the Charts places. Beautiful Decor, Excellent Customer Service with a Smile. This was the Perfect Full English plate of Goodness. I Love Tomato's on the vine. I would have eaten everything on that plate. I would say that there Menu looked very Good Substantial Fare indeed. Lee, this must be visited again for some Lunch and just try something different to Savour. My Score in Total....... 13/10.. Thank you Lee.

Fck me. At my local farm shop, full english is £7. Propper sausages and black pudding all sourced locally. Plus fresh farmhouse toasted bread and jam/marmalade. Shout out to Bolster Moor!

One field mushroom is worth several spoonfuls of tinned mushrooms, on the whole it looked superb and for a large city and premium produce I think it was a fair price.

Have you ever seen the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway down ln Kent. The worlds smallest public Railway, mostly steam trains. Well worth a visit, even if it is a long way from you

One of the best looking breakfasts I've ever seen, looked like a farmers brekkie. Plate could of been a bit bigger, everything looked crammed on. Poached eggs looked amazing, prefer them to fried. But the price, OMG expect 2 brekkies for that! Another great review though 👍👍👍

£25 slightly expensive breakfast there Lee despite it looking a nice place to eat. Not a black pudding fan but I do like to see tomatoes on the vine fresh and tasty. Great recommendation. Incidentally I worked on the railway for 23 years however now retired.

The place looks nice, as does the food. Looks like you could have done with a bigger plate though or the bread on a separate plate.

Gary Eats paid £50 for a breakfast for 2 at the Hawksmore: smoked bacon chop sausage black pudding hash browns grilled bone marrow trotter baked beans fried eggs grilled mushroom roast tomatoes unlimited toast HP gravy In London, so worked out £25 each between him and the cameraman. Stunning ingredients - as much as this place looked good I can’t help but thinking for Leeds paying nearly £15 for a breakfast and then having to pay another £5 for additions of hash browns and black pudding is a bit of a rip off. It did look good tho 😋

£50 for two if having same as you, not what everyone can afford to pay now days, not for me for due to price as you can get some fabulous breakfasts for around £6 to £8

Just had a Beef Carvery 'twixt Derby and Ilkeston for 1/3 of the price...Even Brought a goodly sandwich worth home. I'll stay down here, Ta.....Lovely Staff, but no "I've got a name" Chef. Hence the price?

Might have been a nice breaking, but no fry is worth in excess of £20 never mind £14.95 without extras. A fry is a fry cheap and cheerful. Come to the occupied 6 counties and have an ulster fry gorgeous and cheap plus it's great

I had 'vine tomatoes' on an evening meal I had in the hotel I stayed at in Launceston, Tasmania turned out to be 4 cherry tomatoes witha bit of vine laid across the top of them. Great hotel though

Overall,as Iam married to a chef who did breakfast for over 17 years in a hotel, I would have o give it an 8.5 I think.But overall looked great to be fair. One, the plate was far too small for the amount, schoolboy error. Two, I know a lot of restaurants serve tomatoes on the vine but they are not, in my opinion fit for breakfast and inclined to be served to look posh. really. Three, I have looked at your poached eggs three times and, for me, they looked almost perfect but just slightly under cooked, I think even an extra half minute would've done as they did look very lightly snotty, Four, way way overpriced, even for a city, I could have just about accepted it if the hash browns and black pudding were included. Or why not offer hash browns, or black pudding or tomatoes as we have always found a lot of people not that fussed about tomatoes.All that said, it obviously looked a good bit above average.

Couple of immediate things Lee, yes how I loved my Hornby Double O with the three rails when I got it as a christmas present in 1961 next was Meccano oh such joyful bliss. I can still smell those transformers. Okay 2nd thing: as you entered Leeds I couldn't help but notice all the tower blocks had cladding, made me think of the Dave Clarke Five
