I think I've seen about 6-8 reviews on this addon. You are the first obactually point out the nice option to edit existing crowds by using the single individual function. Did not know you could update existing collection using that. That makes it even more poewerful

This looks very useful. Could save tons of time. Especially with adding custom characters from Maximo it well worth the price if you ask me.

I bought this a while back but sometimes the texture doesnt work...not sure why...maybe it's an issue only I'm dealing with...I dont know...i was excited but now not much since i cant really use it properly...but its a great addon nevertheless

This looks really useful. I'm guessing the walking speed can't be varied? -- That's the one issue I see here: there's an "uncanny valley" effect for me, as everyone in the crowd moves at the same rate. Would "sell" better if it could be made less uniform.

I couldn't quite tell from the video, but do they have problems with clipping? It looks like the walking crowds are separated into lanes or something that control the direction, but I couldn't really see if people were clipping into each other or not. I've already got a GN setup I've made that handles car traffic, and figured I could use that for something like this, but clipping is a problem I've yet to solve.

Hey Martin for your project why don't you give houdini indie a try ( $400 for 2 years) SOPs for the procedural modeling , L-System for trees & vegitation if you are not using anything like Speedtree, not really as intutitive as something like Gaea, but the terrain generation is great & given more times it can do something that Gaea can't. Also you can use VOPs noise for rocks & organic structures. Great for Crowd simulations as well. Vellum cloth is not really a replacement of marvelous designer, but it can do a decent job. Vellum hair for grooming is create as well. For your characters you can look for Daz3D & it's Genesis 9 collection . I don't know if you have CC4 ultra license or not, but Realusion's license system can be quite tricky.
