My Hair: How I Keep it Long & Healthy + Products, Habits and What I Eat (Yes)
#haircare #moroccanoil #longhair
At the risk of beating a proverbial dead horse, the first thing I think of whenever anyone asks about my hair or skin care routine isn't what I use in the way of products--it's my lifestyle habits and the foods I consume. Why? Because, the foods we consume dictate the growth, integrity, maintenance and appearance of our bodily tissues! YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT. We've all heard it before, and it's the truth. Healthy skin, healthy hair--it comes from WITHIN first and foremost.

Your routine reminds me very much of my own! People always ask how my hair is so healthy/thick and how my skin is so smooth. Well, I keep it very simple too. I use the Maui Moisture shampoo/conditoner. i do wash my hair every day or every other day though which is fine for it. Then i use an argan oil immediately after the shower and let it air dry. I sleep on a satin pillowcase and thats about it. I eat healthy (lots of fish, sweet potatoes, fruits and veggies especially, but I dont restrict my diet..and drink water but I dont take supplemetnts or spend tons of money on products that will just overwhelm my scalp anyways. I use tretinoin and a face oil and thats it.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I love your videos !!! I am thankful because they truly gave me a feeling of relief 😊 I usually don't seek out skincare videos from KZfaqrs because I feel like there is a constant whirlwind of new and different products that are from sephora, target,(etc) and people talk about a new brand or a trendy skincare product, and then they constantly change skincare products, but watching your videos made me feel relieved that yes !! Simple is best !! Skincare can be made so confusing but you make it so clear thanks a lot (: I've made my skincare simpler and have seen good results. Ive been using adapalene for a month(vit. A derivative) and I've seen improvements in my skin already, it's glowing (I'm 18) After adapalene I plan on going to retin A. Congrats on your channel growth 😁

I went back to the basics. Suave, Alberto Vo5 and have seen nothing but improvement. I wanna get horse shampoo to grow my hair back because I damaged it with mechanical management and the fact that I left my hair in a bun for too long and it was matted. But so far so good. I've been keeping it in a braid recently and since it looks thicker. Everyone has asked my age.. healthy hair makes you look younger fr fr

I do not reapply! I practice once daily, in the morning, as shown in my AM skincare routine video. The only instance I would ever reapply would be if I sweat profusely in the hot summer months, which I don’t tend to experience (sweating profusely that is). So it’s not my practice to reapply.

Hey Jennifer, thank you so much for all your videos. You are so beautiful, it really shows how well you take care of your skin/hair! I'm a 30 year old women, with no skin care regimen. I'm trying to learn how to take care of my skin/health. I'm curious what you think about fully natural products (no chemicals at all) for hair and facial products? Being that your big on the food you take in, do you ever worry about the products you are putting topically as a negative consequence long term for your health? or do you find products that have chemical concoctions not to big of a deal. I would really appreciate your input. Thank you so much.

My diet is very simple. I eat 8-10 cups of vegetables every day, plus avocado, olive oil, bone broth, eggs, seeds and nuts, fatty fish or grass fed meat, organ meats, and I drink green tea and water. I have one cup of black coffee per day. That's it! I do not consume sugar. No refined carbohydrates (bread, pasta, crackers, etc etc). And I don't have dairy, nor do I eat packaged or processed stuff. I prepare and cook all my food for myself! I eat an abundance of fat, which keeps me healthy and robust, and my skin in tip top condition.

Hello, the question is not related to the topic is about the retinoin , I started to use about two weeks ago and I learned in the hard way that it should not be use every day until the skin aclimate, my question is if would be more wise to just put in on my skin twice week and what areas avoid?? Thank you
@nj-gt2ow
@nj-gt2ow 4 жыл бұрын
Wescela Dennis Hey ! Yes my dermatologist adviced me the same. Use once a week for few weeks then twice a week for few weeks. Then after 2-3 months use it every alternative day. At first avoid eye area, area near lips. Hope this helps x
@JenniferMyers
@JenniferMyers 4 жыл бұрын
Use once per week to begin. That is what I did. After a period of about 2 weeks, I increased it to every third day, and eventually every other night. But always assess the state of your skin and move forward accordingly. Aggressively increasing the amount or frequency of application will not accelerate your results - only the side effects, which you obviously do not want! Good luck!!

Do you use castor oil for your eyebrows
@JenniferMyers

@@miskemohamed4151 No. But because I massage the oil all around my eyes it gets everywhere and seeps down onto my cheeks, too.

The answer is genetics. Some people's hair would be completely ruined by using drugstore products like Suave. That's all folks.

Veggies, fat and protein are very good things. Sugar is not. A little honey is okay because of its benefits.

She already clarified about not using botox or fillers. Since 15 years she has been using tropical treatments. Idk why people like you claim things as if you have an evidence

I like your mindfulness videos very much, but it's so hard for me to understand how can you be this beautiful and thoughtful human being, and consume animal products, let alone how harmful this is for your body, but the thought of harm this cause to the living creature ... Anyway, thank you for your mindfulness videos, these are amazing

Thank you. I am not a smiley person, I know this. It doesn't mean I'm unhappy..I've never been a bubbly smiley faced person, even when I was a kid. I've come to embrace myself in my maturity. Thank you, again, though.

Smoking and drinking affects negatively and dead animals who didn’t want to be our food In the first place help in quality of our appearance? I think it’s all dependent on what your beliefs are. If you are willing to eat animals as huge as cows that weigh about 2,000 kilograms, then I bet eating humans is justified as well.. don’t you think?
