I had a narrow window of opportunity to travel by the high-speed Pendolino train, so flew to Lisbon with Easyjet and back from Faro with Ryanair. 56 hours with no sleep. #portugal #lisbon #faro
Filmed November 2023 | Glasgow, UK.

I do hairbrained trips like this from time to time (Ryanair, skyscanner "transfers", overnighting in airports, walking distances any sane person would take a taxi for) and I often wonder to myself if I'll still have the spirit for it when I'm older. You're at least one data point that shows that maybe I will. Great video!

I loved that video and Ive had pretty much all those experiences as a frequent traveller. Yes Ive walked to airports, got lost in Lisbon climbing endless hills (I did go into the castle though) and of course have been wet. Nowadays since I do like walking around cities I do pack either light weight rain gear or a pair of light replacement trousers and a fresh shirt in my carry on bag. Luckily Dublin is my home airport so generally I can get direct flights. Keep it going Scott!

Prices in Portugal are generally very reasonable (but as everywhere higher in the usual places, like airports). Some of the places you walked I'd not be with a camera , especiallly at night, whilst personal security is not the same problem as other countries I'd still have been nervous. I've just come back from Lisbon, was at the airport where you filmed the segment, as airports go it's a good place, clean & modern. All the people have been friendly and welcoming to the British, not something I could say is the case across every EU country. Great video, I'm subscribed and waiting for the next one.
