Shane looks like his mom, the mannerisms of his dad, hits hard just like his dad and Dave but he is own person. Either way his talent is fostered by the best. I look forward to his future and evolution. Yes T is looking down and proud af but let’s not forget Shane is Shane and no one else. ❤

I actually think he looks so much like his dad when he was around that age. He’s even built up like him. 😂 But, he definitely has his beautiful mama’s eyes. I feel like people have sort of a complex not wanting him to be compared at all to his dad because it’s natural that so many people will do that and they don’t want Shane’s identify to be compromised with the constant correlation to his dad, but he really does undeniably favor him. Nevertheless, he is certainly his own person and paving his own way. An incredible drummer with similarities to both his dad and Dave, but distinctly his own flare. I agree..Shane is Shane and I’m super excited to see him continue to shine and forge his own path in music or in whatever he wishes to do. He’s one awesome young man! ❤

Not trying to downplay Josh Freese's skills, but please bring Shane to NY and Hershey Park next month! This one really hit home.

Highlight of the night for me. I saw Shane do this at the Tribute gig and thought he was better than some of the old pros. Last night though, omg. I never had the privilege of seeing Taylor play live, but it really felt like I did last night. His energy and dedication to drumming is absolutely hereditary, coz Shane is just amazing to watch. Couldn't take my eyes off him for the whole song.
@user-vq3wx1pz4v26 күн бұрын
Shane looks like his dad back there, not a technical yet, but he hits the drums hard like his Uncle Dave. He will be the next FF drummer when he's ready.
@katin623825 күн бұрын
@user-vq3wx1pz4v I agree. I think he needs some time to grow up and hone his talents, coz let's face it, he's still only 17, but I'm sure if the Foos are still going in 5-10 years and Josh steps down, they'll offer it to him at least. In the meantime, he's having fun drumming in his dad's old band Chevy Metal. It'd be cool if Dave et al got Chevy Metal to play as a supporting artist on their next tour for a few dates though, give him a proper taste of touring life, without the full weight of doing a whole world tour. Then he can decide if he's ready to do it full time.

Thanks so much for sharing this ❤ Would be cool to have Shane reappear at times in the future, but having seen Josh Freese live recently, not to mention his brilliant interview with Rick Beato, he is the best drummer for the Foos by a mile. I was there on both Thursday and this one on Saturday. I had a lovely vantage point on Sat, opposite from when you filmed this. I could see Shane collapsing down the steps at the back and those that can lip read will know I’m omitting a few expletives, but it was on the lines of “omg, what just happened”.
@noodlesiis28 күн бұрын
As much as it’s great seeing Shane with the FF’s i think everyone needs to give him time and a bit of space to grow up the way he wishes too and not just what everyone else seems to want him to be.. Be careful what you wish for as they say, show him the luv and respect yes but let him define himself.. Having Dave around to turn too i’m sure is a massive thing for Shane and for Dave also eg vice versa but he will only ever have one real Dad and what a great Dad he was too..

@@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid they’re basically family I’m sure they would, also yes he’s with other acts of a lower scale, that’s what cutting his teeth means.
