Your tip about Project managers is so spot on. I work for a tech consultant company so we have multiple projects, so that means I have multiple project managers. Their attitudes can really make or break your attitude towards their projects. Thankfully I have understanding project managers, but there is one that means well but is breathing down my neck most times. I'm lucky to have a boss that had to do most of the programming for my role before I filled it, so he knows that one bug could take days. Otherwise I'd be out of there so fast.

I’m from Houston, and I was thinking it’d be really helpful if you could make a vid addressing the job market in various areas of the U.S. I’ve always been concerned with whether or not there are even employers in my area who are willing to hire self-taught devs. Either way, you’ve got yourself a listener right here!
