I know it’s crazy, funny story, that happened a few years ago in my neighbourhood, they blocked out all the windows and put cameras on the outside with gate over the front door, the police asked the neighbours if they knew the people living there, & they said they only came every now & then, the police looked at their electrical bill & they found it was unusually high so they raided the house, Lol, the guy ended up suing the police, turns out it wasn’t a grow house, It was a Bitcoin mining operation, house was full of crypto miners, all completely legal, it explained the high electricity bill, cameras, gated up doors & windows for security, Times are changing, from growing houses to Crypto houses.

Sadly this sort of thing is not that uncommon. I personally know 2 people landlords this has happened to. Both times the houses had tens of thousands of pounds of damage that needed to be fixed at the owners' cost. And both landlords were not involved. It is more likely to happen with the landlord living abroad and with no one checking the property's condition and making sure the tenants are not in breach of contract. I think Mo just got unlucky.

Sell all that stuff and get some of your money back. That stuff is all worth money even though they seemingly cut the wires to everything it can all be spliced back together; but you should sell it and get some of your money back for everything else that was stolen and lost. Sorry to hear about your bad circumstances but at least you’re OK and your house is still standing and hopefully insurance will take care of the rest. Be safe.
