My husbands place of employment prefers their employees not to wear jewelry of any kind due to the machinery. Someone tried a silicone ring and got it caught in the rollers and snapped the ring in half and breaking their finger. Would have been scarier if they were wearing a metal ring or necklace.

Mine did, too, because of his job. I still wear mine because I'm not petty and I trust him. Also, ring or not, a cheater will cheat either way.

Acer where I agree there are people that don’t honor a commitment or loyalty to their partner, a person who has good standing character will make sure that people recognize that they are in a committed relationship and respect the person whom they chose as their spouse by wearing the marriage band that shows that tie between them . My spouse is a chef and until he understood that I too can walk around without a ring and act as single as him did he actually start wearing it respectfully . Why ? 💁🏻‍♀️I outgrew my wedding band (never had a "diamond" on my finger) and I have RA as well as sensory issues so when my ring would touch my pinkie finger joint as it was extremely sensitive to the point of being significantly painful like needles along with solid non-stop pain jaggering pain and when I removed the ring it would take several days to even try and calm down...it's not just the ring being on my finger because the sensitivity is there with/without jewelry 🤷🏻‍♀️
