My heart breaks for you for what you went through Sis. I hope you seek comfort from the Lord. You were put in that traumatic situation unwillingly, and that should not stop you from getting a purity ring because you are as deserving of it as your sisters. And even if you did stuff after that God forgives! As long as you are fully repentant and trust in Him, He will forgive you. A purity ring signifies so much more than virginity, it signifies a promise and a covenant you make with God to continue trusting in Him whether it is you praying and waiting for Him to give you the right man or anything else. The purity ring will be a constant reminder of your promises to God and to yourself. Pray about it and see what the Lord tells you to do!

Your gut reaction is right. These things are exploitative, creepy, and wrong when forced on you by adults. This girl chose it herself so that’s okay. Still A girls sex life is no one’s business and should not be worn on your body as a symbol of the most private part of your life. I am so sorry you are made to feel this way.
