I feel like you've developed the helluva boss world more than vizipop has ngl. Whenever I'm watching the show, I'm always confused about some things and especially how the heck striker is an imp if he looks like the shark demons. Seeing your designs bring me so much joy bc they're so thought out and well done, you can see the love put into them. I do enjoy the og designs but I always felt like something was missing with them and vizi's story overall, world feels lackluster.

I have my own personal headcanons about a imps. It’s that they might be descendents of cherubs and whatever ancient hell natives from wrath. A good majority of cherubs are goat/sheep like and they might have mixed with a snake like ancestor due to the hissing and tongue of the imps. The horns and hooves are what’s left of the cherub ancestry.

I love your design! How you slowly changed the design, your rewrite ideas for the rings and how it reflects yourself is really cool! Your impsona also just looks so cute and huggable! (This also inspired me to make my own impsona, thanks for freeing me from artblock!)

for my oc, i dont really like coming up with completely new characters, or basing them off myself, i really just use my mascot Mocha in different versions. He's a pudgy ragdoll cat, so the only thing that made sense to me was... putting some horns on him and there ya go. However it was the time that season 2 came out, and i kept getting remembering that one pug form the lunas adoption flashback.... and the colors and color placement kinda matched too, so that made it: hell Mocha is now a pug hellhound!

Oh also, fun terminology etymology, the whole thing with 'green' being associated with envy was because the Greeks though that you could literally get physically sick by being too fearful and jealous, literally turning the skin pale and green while also producing too much bile. Or that too much bile in your system would make you more fearful and jealous. Doesn't have anything to do with the green American money, especially considering the 'green eyed monster' was mentioned... in Shakespear, as a direct translation. So yeah, technically the Envy ring should be full of more... 'sickly' characters, or heck, have all of hell's hospitals.

As a furry who also likes sea monsters, we don’t really have a name other than that lol, some people say “scaly” (Though that really only applies to sea monsters with scales, also it can be used with snakes so it isn’t a great term, but either way I hope it helps!)

her old to recent to new designs remind me of animals evolving/ adapting to where they live, like maybe her old design lived in the wrath ring then the recent moved somewhere close to water/ moved into the envy ring & new currently lives in the envy ring

This video is weirdly comforting to me since Ive put a crap load of thought into my own sona and how he'd live in different media i love. I made him fun to draw and fun to write, but i always feel weird about it since i dont wanna seem vain or self obsessed. I still think anything is improved when given a snoot :D Also, seahorses are just fish in landscape mode :p I'll also note, always have an interesting relationship with per-fur-imp-sonas, rarely are they ever a close 1-to-1 with me. What ends up happening is that I'd have several characters that represent a single 'aspect' of me, or some sort of neuroticism, or even a part of me I want to mock. There's a 'sona' character thats practically a buttmonkey, a kind of pathetic character that is still just terrible enough that you enjoy seeing their comeuppance, but not terrible enough for you to actively go out and 'defeat' them. Still, absolutely love the redesign, and I think the 'avatar' you had earlier on is cute. Having 6 poses is enough. I mean, have you 'seen' the Phoenix Wright series? One of my favorite characters literally only has 4 animations but he's so EXPRESSIVE.

When I was redoing my IMP Sona, I wanted to also do something with ocean. Originally, I was going to do a mix between imp and sting ray but had no idea how to do that XD

ive made five ocs. yes my first oc's family worked at buckso's circus(bug nether parent was from greed or pride. mother was from lust and father from wrath.) but my favorite is actually for an Au i use for escapesim. her name is molly and is moxxie's run away twin, fleeing to lust after their mother died, was raised by asmodus who originally just took her in untill he found her homebut grew attached. she then met he boyfriend Dante, a hellhound, an ended up having hybrid twins named hunter and ophila, hunter looks more like an imp but his hair grows faster, has legs like moxxie and his grandma, the hellhound smell ability. his sister ophila looks more hellhound like but with imp horns and scars white like imps under her fur. they are both 2 an half years old. i have yet to draw them. oh! also dante is a great stay at home dad, no trauma causing from him.

I started working on a helluva boss oc who is a goetia, but I haven't worked on a design yet but I want to go with something that isn't a bird because not all of them are birds in the biblical lore, but I somewhat have a story for him, his family was once huge but centuries of infighting due to them always trying to become the head of the family, resulting in many members dying, yeah his family is chaotic and full of schemers and backstabbers which his grandfather forced them to put that to an end, that's all I got

I like how you made a hybrid because you are a mixed kid. But also for personality. I am kind of the same as you because I'm a pretty patient person and it takes a lot for me to get angry, but when I do it kinda blows up and I'm also a jealous and envious person and I might do an envy and lust impsona because not because I'm into lust, since I'm more of a romantic than anything. One question ive always had about imps in show is that there native to wrath. Wrath is a desert region with seeningly little to no trees so why do the have prehensile tails? Prehensile tails woupd only really benefit creatures that in live trees so why do they have them?

this is a bit late, but to answer your question about marine anthros, furries can be any anthropomorphic animal! its not just restricted to mammals (or even vertebrates for that matter, i love me some insect furries hehe). while some people do split up different types of animal into different types of furry (like scalies for reptiles), it really doesnt matter honestly. an anthro animal is an anthro animal, yknow?
