Do you chose what pictures you want from the card to pass to the hard drive because I’m questioning if the older pictures from the card duplicated again to the drive when you pass them or those only new pictures pass only if it makes sense

Is there a way to rename photos in Lightroom CC on the iPad? With my laptop or desktop Mac, I can select all and batch renamed the photos in Lightroom (to 2022-06-01 Subject-001 for instance). Also, is there a way to create collections - where I can reorder the images before renaming them? Then when I export them they are renamed and sorted to more useful names and sequence. Thanks.

Great video I do the same as you. But the moment when I ad the sd card via Lightroom than the files are black. As soon as the files are imported in LR I can see them. Do you have them same? With the DNC files I haven't this problem. When I select my Fuji camera on uncompressed I can see them too

Great video. One issue with iPad. How do you make sure the colors and tones are calibrated in a iPad? There doesn’t seem to be a standard way to calibrate an iPad screen available like a Mac or PC

Great video! One question, how are you handling file transfer? Are you offloading from camera to ipad or editing from SSD?

Thanks Christian! I'd back it up first to an external hard drive through files and then offload them to Lightroom CC for photo culling. So essentially I am editing the "picked" photos from the iPad.

I’m kind of thinking about if I should either get the iPad Pro or the Air (did manage to get some clients🥳) and now I see that u can actually use the film simulations in Lightroom? 😮 I am shooting with fujifilm as well and I am mind blown now haha

Woohoo Congrats! If you can wait there might be an announcement in October. Not sure if there will be new iPad or perhaps some redesign. So keep an eye out!

So there's Lightroom Classic, Lightroom CC, Lightroom, Lightroom Mobile and Lightroom for iPad, which is apparently free, but I still have to log into Adobe to use it ... I have no idea what Lightroom is anymore.

What model of Ipad is in this video? I am curious as to the size of the files it can handle. My photos are usually 20 - 100 MB in size with max 12,000 x 8000 size. Do you think it could handle this? I had microsoft surface before ant i aint making that mistake again

No batch export? Easy when you only edit 5 images at a time. Try 50 or 100.

help a newbie! I take photos in raw format. Then I throw it on the iPad for editing in Lightroom. I upload photos to the program in raw format. I do editing, filters, etc. then I click save to film, and if I click save to raw, it just saves the original photo! that is, there are 2 takes in the film. no edited photo. it is only in the lightroom itself! but if I click save as jpeg with maximum quality, everything is saved without problems. but there is one thing - the quality of the image then falls anyway compared to the original raw. tell me - am I doing something wrong or is it impossible to save the processed photo on ipad in lightroom in raw format?

You don’t want to save your photos in raw. If you do the exact thing like he does in the video you’ll be good!
