krowki...there are at least 3 types 1 like your friend has tried....hard on outside soft in middle 2 hard and falls apart...3 the one that is extremely chewy and will pull your teeth and or fillings out of your teeth. the last one i have fond memories of...my mother worked at a telephone switchboard at milk proccessing plant in warsaw back in 80s...her friend brought some krowki for her to have a snack while se workd...well those things litterlly glued her jaw shut while she was answering the phones imagine the hillarity that ensued when that happen....as for delicie...they are a bit dry usually you eat them while drinking hot tea...oolong goes great and taste improves by 200% ohh you can make krowki yourself at home use powdered sugar and powdered milk and fry them after mixing...you can find recepies on line...a lot of older poles used to make them at home...and recepies can vary but base is sugar and milk

lol barylki...you are evil...your friend if he is not used to drinking will have a hangover that can and is known to last days! good man my dauhghters godparents...i bought few boxes...and my daughters godparents went hog wild with being greedy as they were went all out by eating box each...hangover laid them out for 5 days...
