@@christinegivens9048 I mean, I like my job now-- I'm a hairstylist. I get paid to be creative and gossip all day. The early grind of a career is not for the faint of heart. But if prop styling was big passion, no doubt worth it to switch!

It’s really interesting seeing the difference between styling a space for living and styling for photos. I learned something. Like, you can do things (or not) for a photo that in real life would be impractical. You have so much creative leeway. Yet, the photos look like you could walk right in and join the party. So inviting! Beautiful job! ❤

Wow it's so interesting to see what a prop stylist ACTUALLY does. When you described it before, I thought you were just responsible for putting things here and there, on top of the table, counters etc. But based on this vid, you actually do a lot more! You decide the layout of the furniture, and pretty much everything!

Many years ago I was a military wife and we had very little money, so I would buy a couple of sweet potatoes and grow the vines in hurricane style glasses. It was a very inexpensive way to have greenery in our humble military life home. I still think they are cute! Love your outdoor dining table styling!!

@08:48: When you said, “I’m changing my mind, let’s put the couch in front of the door.” I said, ‘Noooooo.’ but when you moved it I realized it was *absolutely* the right thing to do. 👍🏾 That patio came out sooooo nice! ❤

I thought the same thing! I think it is because our first reflex is to think about the practicality... But it is a photo shoot, nobody will come through those doors and this set up will be taken apart right after!

As someone who’s currently working on building my prop styling portfolio, I love this content! I always come to your account for inspiration & would love to see more behind the scenes because there isn’t much of that content out there. The sets you created are beautiful, i love the mix match and all the colors and textures you used, you added so much life to the more simple/ modern furniture. I look forward to seeing more of this kind of content!!

11:25 I love this setup! I’m so interested to hear what other people would do. It’s clear you have a much more elevated style (especially more so than all of the current squiggle and checkerboard trends), but I’d love to know more about what sets you apart! Your videos are my favorite on KZfaq, pls keep making content! Also, if you ever had a tutorial video for how artists and makers can prop style and photograph their work to sell, I’d be so stoked to learn 💚

Wow- this is easily one of my favorite videos you’ve ever done. It was just so interesting/fun to watch it come together. I honestly thought that the white/black outdoor set from the first shoot was too sterile, and I had no clue how you were going to make it work, but you did! Also, I loved the red blanket across the lounge chair. Please do more of these vids if other clients let you. It was enjoyable to see some of your friends on set as well!
