I'm so unbelievably excited to have made it to 100k subscribers on youtube - thank you to everyone for the support! To celebrate this milestone, I thought I would look back at some of the first videos I ever made, and this crazy journey I've been on. WARNING: Parts of this video are extremely cringe-worthy.
Would love it if you supported me on Patreon! Come join the Blondie gang! / blondieinchina
Who else is using a VPN these days to access Netflix libraries from different countries? Such a life hack! I've always used Express VPN (click here for 3 months free when you purchase the annual plan): www.expressvpn.com/blondieinc...
The music I use in my videos: share.epidemicsound.com/F8Fhs

As a Chinese myself living in Australia for 14 years, I love both countries. However, I feel sad about people spreading hatred on social media these days and I couldn't see any positive outcome from doing this. Hope more Aussies will see your channel and understand more Chinese culture and its people. Thanks and keep up the good work.

You've been brainwashed to think that if people criticize your government that they are attacking you personally. Think carefully, how many times have you seen something that couldn't be attributed to a criticism of the Chinese government. 那你大部分华裔人都是这样被共匪迷糊的,要多思想吧

@@RonaldMcPaul Critisize based on fact and truth is ok. i personally also do it. But making rumors, fake news, misleading messages or similiar ones are not welcome. If you think criticeze based on misleading information, rumors, or use one case to refer to all, etc, if you think this is ok, then we have different values. I can show you some examples how the medias are doing this job. Meanwhile, also respect others. I personally try my best to respect all kinds of values, social systems, and i wont force people to think this one is the right one. For me, each system has its goodness and badness. Keep doing you babe! I love your videos, I'm in the process of trying to learn Mandarin. I've noticed I picked it up quite easily compare to Japanese or Korean. Maybe because my roots are from China (I'm half Han Chinese and a mix of many minority groups in China) so my family and I don't speak any Mandarin or Cantonese. But I do notice same or similar words, phrases, and tones that we use but some having completely different meaning.

What!!!? Loved hearing the story of how this channel came to be. I’m sure we will all cringe at our past videos. For the food fight, I vote for TEAM HOT POT!

I first watched the channel because of the familiar Aussie accent, great food introduction, and the fluent level of Chinese Amy has. She is a great ambassador for Australia and China. When I watched the first video featuring her dad eating Langzhou beef noodle you can feel how supportive her parents and sister has given. Then I suddenly recognise the family when mum appears :) Known the parents for >20 years and they are the nicest people.

Congratulations Amy!!! The reason why I subscribed you out of all the other KZfaqr in China is because you embraced the country and language like your own I’m Chinese and has never been to China it was great to see it through your eyes from the US 👍 and also my mother who is 90 years old said look how come Amy can speak better Chinese than you 😊

Blondie in China I definitely well. I also wanted you to know your content is quite different than all the other you tubers Because you take us to small towns telling us about the history and show us different personalities and yourquirkiness are very funny and interesting.

@@BlondieinChina yes, we arrived in a "new normal", were already at Hainan and planning a trip in June in China 😊. I am not a professional blogger (and will never be), but I tried to capture our live in Shanghai during the lock down and afterwards: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l8ljdq9m3tumpp8.html It is in German, but I know that you are advancing in this language as well 😉

Hey Amy, I'm a Chinese in Australia. I just want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You are building something beautiful in this not so perfect reality. It's not easy and takes courage. I wish you all the best.
