Every season is extremely different and season 1 just gets better and better per episode. Even the acting gets better per episode. And season 2 - 3 are insane.

one of the actresses later recounted: "- we finished filming the last season, and the next day the covid-quarantine began. from a fictional apocalypse we ended up in a real one!" and I say: after that it was years before we got a really good quality fantasy again series.

15:42 I just started season 3 and I have to say this show is INSANE! NOTHING like I've ever seen. I swear I go from hating a character one season to them being my favorite the next. I can't imagine what's to come.

This series has 7 seasons. I've watched up thru Season 4 on blu-ray. It's like Mad Max in Appalachia. The surving tribes are very Mad Max-y and there's even one group who are kind of nuclear mutant-y. Forgot what they were called, but they don't show up until Season 2.

Season 1 meh Seasons 2-4 OMG what an awesome show! Season 5 it ‘s ok, would have been the perfect ending Seasons 6&7 what is this? It’s unreal how may characters you hate at first but man you end up loving them all

I can't explain well because i should use too many spoilers, but it's unfortunate that S1 is the best season in some aspects but it also feels like it's poor after watching following seasons
