So going off her theories, I do have some alternate thoughts to help with Leigh’s theory: 1. Sora in KH1 broke the rules on how to come back as yourself. Kairi resurrects Sora through her compassion for the friend she REMEMBERS and thus creates him. We could assume the real heart of Sora fell into the Fictional World, binding to Yozora. Much like how Ventus found Sora. 2. Notice how in the Toy Story world, all the toys see Sora as Yozora? That could be further confirmation that Yozora is the Sora of that universe.

“I’ve been having these weird thoughts lately. Like, is any of this for real, or not?” Just hearing Yozora call back to the very first line you ever hear in kingdom hearts was just an insane and perfect way to close off the first saga.

57:18 Fun fact, this is almost shot-for-shot the same as the teaser for Versus XIII. Just in case there was any doubt left that Nomura's still salty about getting pulled off that project, and Yozora is just him doing it anyway.

That theorizing near the end there is top notch! I never considered that before. I always assumed Yozora said that this wasn’t what he looked like because the man we see in the game is a false form, but maybe what we see is actually his true form, Yozora just expects him to see the altered form he’s had for a while now.

I’ve had Limit Cut for years and still haven’t even attempted Yozora. Guy scares the shit out of me tbh

I gotta say, of all the Yozora theories I've heard, I like this one the best. It sounds legit enough that it should be true. Whether or not it is, or they try to pull a rope-a-dope on us all going forward remains to be seen. But I found you're deductive reasoning to be sound. I wouldn't have taken so much time to think about it. At this point the KH crew seem to enjoy the ever present and continued frustration and confusion of their audience, so I don't bother trying until they explain themselves. But THIS was an excellent theory worth consideration. Well done!

I think your theories about Yozora being both V13 Noctis and Sora matches up. If you look at the KH3 Secret Ending when it shows Sora and Riku in the city, it shows lights of blue and red (like Yozora's eyes), and when Sora gets up he's standing between those lights. Possibly hinting about Sora being mixed into Yozora. Meanwhile Riku, when he gets up, is only in blue lights, no red lights around at all. Would could possibly be telling us about how Sora is from the world of pure light (same as Riku's) while Noctis's was the world of Darkness, combining Sora and Noctis into the perfect form of light & darkness to make Yozora. Which might also explain how he is able to steal the power of Sora's keyblade and use it against him, because it is Sora's power. I have my own theory as well, but I won't go into it here, it's all over the place really. lol

A really impressive feat! That thing about Yozora having Sora inside him is such a cool theory

I’ve been watching you play through every KH game and it’s been so nostalgic seeing someone coming into the game without prior knowledge and seeing a genuine reaction. Reminds me of when I started playing the games back in 2008 I grew up with this franchise and it’s been amazing and I’ve gotten so connected to the characters. I never got around to beating old Xehanort or Yozora cause I got married and life has been busy but I gotta go back and make sure I finish the DLC or just replay every game again just for old times sake. Love the content thank you for it and keep up the great videos and enthusiasm

When you played Elden Ring and realized it's a breeze compared to Kingdom Hearts 3's Data Battles.

Now that, at least everyone solely watching the KZfaq videos are caught up with your progress, I would like to mention that MoM talked to Xehanort about letting a "false light" lead. Sora uses light, but was reborn from being a heartless, thanks to Kairi's "mysterious light," and has his anti/rage form. Another thing to notice is how Sora's anti form in KH2 doesn't use a keyblade, but his KH3 rage form does - possibly showing his darkness become stronger. The heartless are known to follow the keyblade of light, which Sora wields. Meaning Sora is also technically leading the darkness. I would suggest more, but the remainder of Union χ comes first; though I just want say that I theorize that we've already met Yozora before.

Absolute props to looking at these fights, giving them attempts, and then dedicating yourself to completing all of them! I haven't played these yet, and sometimes I fear if I do, I'll never end up beating them. But seeing other people going through and learning their patterns and coming out saying, "yeah, these bosses are absolutely amazing" gives me hope that if I play KH3 someday, I'll be able to complete these fights too, especially Yozora. Watching this journey as been an absolute blast. The connections you make and the thoughts you have really resonate with the characters, and it seems like you really enjoyed the adventure along the way.

Words cannot express how glad I am that you've put all these KH videos together. The editing is insanely impressive with how kinetic and consistent it always is through such a long run time. Always choosing the best moments and putting together the perfect supercut. Even down to the slow zooms on intense moments and the bouncy motions paired to exasperated sighs. And of course one of these wouldn't be complete without some variation of "I feel like I'm gonna throw up." in there. I know this wasn't easy to do, especially the struggle of editing through what must easily be over 1000 attempts spread though all the bosses. And we know you didn't just skim it all because those battle quote supercuts are so amazing. But I'm so like genuinely proud you stuck through all of that to actually beat all of the bosses and do it all legit. I think I spent like 25 tries beating Larxene and afterwards just being like "I don't think this is for me". And seeing so many different outfit changes indicating just how many tries it took... So while I'm bewildered you bothered to do it, it's really something special and I'm sure felt very rewarding at the time which was definitely a downside for me playing Re:Mind since I beat the standard stuff and didn't much care for the bosses, it felt a bit underwhelming. But I always appreciated that for the people who are into these challenge bosses that they are some really good fights. Even more, now I'm convinced of some pretty insane eye opening theories about Yozora that I never put much thought into before. Though I'm not so sure about Sora being 40... But above all that, I'm most appreciative of just how wholesome this whole journey has been. I was already hugely into KH, but something about being able to relive that experience again from start to finish vicariously like it was the first time through someone who is just so enraptured by it all is just, something else. I feel like I care for these characters even more than I did before, and their musical themes stand out more because you always point it out. I love that you don't care about how dumb and faulty the story is, but just adore it for what it is. I've always felt like it and the characters were always more than the sum of their parts. Like you project your own stuff onto it. It's honestly a bit baffling to me how anyone can be this into the games, especially WITHOUT even having grown up with them like I did. But I'm so glad you do, and I can't wait to watch any and all future parts of this series 💙 I'm so glad I clicked that thumbnail when it showed up in my feed and I was like "Why is some random KH3 playthrough being recommended to me like 3 years after release?" I felt there must be something special about it to be recommended like that when I don't even really watch KH content, and boy howdy was there ever. God bless the algorithm 😌 P.S. I noticed the haircut partway through this and you totally rock it Though I'm still confused about the meaning of the shirt that says "mom?" on it

This masterpiece of a video is straight out of the early 2000s and I absolutely love it!! Sick AMVs if KH characters to some DMC music with some cameos from FF characters is peak AWESOMENESS. Hell, throw in the Versus XIII tease and theorising and it's pretty much 2006 all over again 😭😭 (flashback to me putting vs13 on my must-buy list of PS333333 games 😖😢) The only way to improve on this was to use Linkin Park In the End and Numb/Encore for the fight sequences and end it with some Evanescence 😂 Honestly well done Leigh on yet another amazing vid. The blood, sweat and tears are evident but as always go easy on yourself 😄 Looking fwd to the next masterpiece.

So what you're saying is... if you want to harness your true power, you need to fight accompanied by Devil May Cry music. I think this is what this video's truly trying to teach everyone. Man, these battles look like so much fun, but I'm waiting for the KH games to drop in price on PC before I buy 'em all (again). Between hearing how the ports aren't great and them being on the EPIC Games Store at full price since they released, I haven't gotten around to playing these myself. And since I got spoiled on the story stuff already anyway, I figured watching your journey of this would be a good idea, as I watched all the others and quite frankly just enjoy how you experience games. Funny enough I found this channel through the DMC5 journey video, so I feel like it all went full circle lol

These fights were all designed SO damn well. I loved the way they turned Xemnas’ laser dome from a QTE into a live gameplay element. ReMind w/ LimitCut & the Secret Episode is my favourite entry to any KH title. 💛

Something I absolutely love about limitcut, is that it gave me time to see all the cool little animations each character has. Marluxia moves so gracefully, and Dark Riku does a funny stumble/twirl when you block him and knock him off, like everyone has personality in their movements. The battle theme mixes are also so cool, I especially love Saix's metal version of 13th Struggle, it really fits his whole berserk thing :D Luxord's 13th Struggle also fits him so well, it sounds really elegant and not as intense as the other battles, after all, it's a game between two gentelmen, not a battle of raw strength! For me, Vanitas and Xion were the hardest fights, Vanitas' DM is scary 😭

Not going to lie Siax fight almost broke me was so damn hard, good job hanging in there.
