Drink every time I say "you know" if you want to get absolutely wasted 😂. I'll correct that next time!

I think this was a great way to get the ball rolling on your podcast Justin. I really enjoy your videos and feel like I walk away more knowledgeable afterwards than most of the "laser channels" I watch/Listen to. I didnt notice you say "you know" too often. I think your just being hard on yourself.

I've deen deposed before and when the lawyer sent me the transcript to review, I was shocked how many times I said, "yeah" and "umm".

Good luck with your podcast! Nice collab between you and that ChaptGPT guy 😉 Really enjoyed the more in-depth origin story…props to the girlfriend/wife for believing in you. My hubbie is an enabler, couldn’t have done it without him pushing me forward.

Nice job. Its hard to avoid Facebook, Reddit and other invasive avenues to reach marketplaces, isnt it. Id rather see just a plain BBS, be the norm like in the early days of internet, free and basic. I think Craigslist may be the closest thing now, but its pretty saturated with junk as well. Seems like sometimes half of a starting businesses revenue goes to fees for websites, ecommerce fees, shipping, taxes and customer interactions. Im pretty sure those are the better businesses to be in, the ones gouging all the profits off of small businesses. It can be frustrating. And its really only a feasible adventure if you have a nest egg to rely on, or burn up in the process. Or still have the financial umbilical cord to your parents wallet.

Yeah its not easy and especially now people have no tolerance for abrupt advertising. Must tread carefully when engaging on FB and other social spots.

I love the podcast idea. This refund story is worth an episode. How to deal with them, how much can you loose for good reviews, how to cover your butt, how to tell if they are just making it up for free stuff etc. What do you think?
@justinlaser3 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yeah I can a segment on refunds. Thankfully for me the clients I have that buy physical products rarely request refunds. However, the digital products side is a minefield of annoying refunds and probable scammers.

During your leather making days, where do you buy your leather materials?
@justinlaser3 ай бұрын
Mainly Buckleguy.com and Rocky Mountain Leather Supply. Springfield Leather Company for stuff like glues, dyes, etc.

Do you think that it doesn’t make sense for a small manufacturer to go to marketplaces?
@justinlaser3 ай бұрын
I would go anywhere you think your potential customers are at. I think being small is a massive advantage this day and age because there is a lot of backlash against giant faceless corporations. Use the "smallness" as part of your story and marketing.

How do I contact you? I have like maybe 5 minutes of laser questions. I worked at a laser shop a few years ago and loved it but moved on to a much higher paying job doing something else. I want to get back into laser stuff which I'm actually passionate about which you seem to be as well. I feel like five min of convo you could help point me in today's best direction.
