Wow that title says a lot... and a lot went into this piece, including many hours in the kiln between processing and cooling, and four complete firing cycles.
I didn't share my full schedule in this one as it was four separate firings, and flows are something you may need to experiment with. If you are on Facebook, check out the group named Val Cox's Fusing Frit Workshop (link below.) Her gorgeous powders frits, and confetti shards were used in this project. Also you could end up with thicker or thinner pieces requiring different annealing times and your slumps would vary as a result. For a high level overview of the schedules, the flows were much like my normal full fuse except the top temp was much higher (1525) and held for much longer (90 minutes.) Based on the size and thickness of my fused piece, this one slumped for 30 minutes at 1200, but many of my pieces are 1175 for 45 minutes.
All kilns are different, and this process lends itself to some variables in composition and finished size and thickness, and as a result, schedules will vary as well.
Both the texture mold I used in the third firing, as well as the bottomless mold I used to slump are from Bonny Doon Fused Glass Tools, a link to their molds is also below. (Laurie & Joel Spray)
