Hey everyone!
Join in as I get things done on this laundry day. I'm using a Ramtons Twin Tub Washing Machine and I want to show you how I use this machine to get everything done for me, from washing, rinsing and air drying.

I actually didn't know that these twin tubs are these good. It can actually clean and rinse and dry at the same time...wow! Thanks for this, I've learnt something new....I'm starting to budget for it.

It's really nice machine..the fact that it air dries is such a big bonus.That fabric conditioner hole is tricky 🤣. You deserved that milkshake .

i always love the cleaning days u share with us, u always on top gal. the washing machine best part i love is the air dryer when jus wash becomes easier cleaning and folding clothes same day, even wen its rainy and cold seasons. keep up

Lot of people just add water to washing tub to rinse well and then spin with no added water . Also try looking into getting longer drain hose as can use toilet for drainage.

I've ever tried that but rinsing in the washer doesn't help in saving water. The spinner consumes less water and the clothes still turn out well rinsed. Thanks for the tip though.

Hey Gal, I like the video, Got 3 quick questions Does the sieve/lint filter while removing have the entire component shake? How much power/tokens does the machine consume for a 1-week load for 3 adults and 1 child? Is it safe to wash bras with and without underwire and the same doesn't get damaged? Thanks.

for bra always put them in net bag or uhuru bags and wash them in the machine.

That looks like a really large capacity twin tub washer I've looked here in America and we don't have ones that big.

You don’t have to wring the clothes out the spin dryer will. Also you can rise the clothes in the tub you washed them in. Just drain the wash water, fill with rise water and wash again. She’s also using too much soap which could Damage the machine overtime.

I'm actually using the handwash Persil powder. It's written at the back of the package that it's safe for top loaders.

Hey Faith 💕 glad to have you here. It actually depends on what you like. Some people prefer to rinse all the way as it spin dries....and others rinse a little and let it spin dry while the tap is closed.

So, let me ask a question. As you set the timer to 5mins while rinsing, do you leave the water flowing in until the the end or you rinse for 3 mins then close the tap and let them spin for the rest of the 2mins and then take them out. Is that how it works or you leave the water till the last minute? Please clarify.

No I don't leave the water till the last minute. The first part of your statement is right, that's how it works. The minutes for rinsing can be longer or shorter, depending on the amount of clothes in the spinner. Once you rinse, turn off the tap then allow the clothes to continue spinning without water running, so that the machine squeezes out water from your clothes.

@@muthonimuchangi1363 you're welcome. No you don't have to cause the spinner automatically drains out the water cause unlike the washer, the spinner is originally made to drain water out not to hold it.

Hi, thanks for this video...a question, while washing men's official shirts do you button it all the way? Do you use the heavy mode also for light clothes? I noticed mine 'raruas' some clothes...it is a 10kg but like yours

Hey Patty😊 Good to have you here. Yes I button all the way because I prefer having the dirty side exposed in the washer, I avoid washing the clothes inside out. Then again, I wash some fabrics on 'heavy' mode and others on the 'normal' cycle. Sorry about your washer tearing some of your clothes. Imagine I've never noticed that in mine.

You can but you will end up using more water and it's time consuming too. The Spinner is best for rinsing than the washer.

Hey Becky, good to have you here. It's very economical in terms of electricity and water usage. Infact it saves a whole lot in the amount of water used. Uses very little water to rinse as compared to the amount used during hand wash

Hey.... I think it's because your sieve could be full of the fur like residues and you definitely need to empty and clean the siever. In the video, I'm cleaning my sieve in minutes 13:36

@@prettykhan Sio uvivu. Get a fully automatic machine. It will do everything. All you will need to do is remove the air dry clothes & sun dry them for a few hours & then fold your laundry.

I totally get what you mean Sharon. Sometimes having a semi automatic is good especially in areas affected by water rationing... People can still use these machines even if they don't have running water in their taps... Totally convenient.

Maybe it's the residues from your detergent that's affecting your clothes. You can try and rinse them a little bit more. I normally use toss liquid detergent or Persil powder and I have never experienced that
