Dude I literally do all these things I watch anime in spanish and when there’s words that keep repeating I’ll open my Spanish dictionary app and then write the word in my anki flashcard app. I keep telling people this is the best way to learn thanks for the video!

It's a life changer! I wish school taught me these tricks... my wife is using Anki for German but I prefer the old school version 😄💪

Hi, just found this channel, I'm also learning Portuguese cause I'm in a business school that teaches it, but I'm Mexican so it's not so hard since the languages are similar, a method I recommend it's music, and translating that music yourself, I'm aiming to learn Japanese after I master portugues, but that would be a hard challenge since it's not even similar to anything, but guess games have helped me to know so words

Hey Yeikob, glad you found my channel. Haha yeah you already know 50% of Portuguese. My wife understands almost everything in Spanish although she doesn't speak it. I am actually thinking to learn Japanese in the future too and I would just use my technique of watching anime, post-its and learning sentences. As a second language learner of English, I put in my best effort to learn, but I often face challenges and setbacks. Your advice is truly motivating and gives me hope. I've heard about an extension called Immersive Translate from some KZfaqr's comments, and it sounds quite intriguing. I'll give it a try and hope to make significant progress in this area.

ah that's a cool idea! It does help too. I remember playing english games as a kid that's how I learned words like "sword" or through my wife's phone I learned "to search" in portugese. Try to put your phone in English maybe as well. All the best of luck!

I just tried the extension, it looks good. It challenges you to think of the translation and if in doubt you can translate it. Very good tip, thanks!
