As always, I enjoyed everything, from beautiful scenery, your cooking, harvesting, working & ending with a beautiful hymn ❤ its all so peaceful 😊 We are back home. from our trip to Robbinsville …we had gorgeous weather all week, rode our motorcycle through those beautiful mountains every day ❤ we ate at Lynn’s Place in Robbinsville several times, she is in “Our State” magazine, October issue…she gave me a copy & I got her to autograph it…I asked about Satterfield’s nursery , she said they were closed for the season (I was hoping to get pansies) I really noticed how the leaves were starting to change colors everyday….i know in couple of weeks they will be beautiful…. I still thought everything I saw was beautiful ❤ Still praying for Granny, and all of your family ❤

Thank you so much for sharing God's beautiful bountiful blessings ! It does the heart good to walk along with you this morning...This old country lady at heart for the past 29 years has lived in the city...and oh what an uplifting, joyful to visit here with you each day. The watermelon you cut brought back to my memory of daddy's watermelon field. He grew Charleston Grey melons. We sold them out beside the road for 25¢ each or 5 for $1.00. Again. Thanks so much. God bless y'all! Love in Christ and prayers Have a beautiful day!

Never heard that about the corn being a run out. When I was little if I had a corn cob like that my mother would tell me it was a snaggle tooth - to be funny and so that I would still eat it : ) The kefir looks good, and your new find with the green/white scuppernong grapes too. The proper way to put away corn is to boil for 9 minutes then cut off put in a baggie and put just enough water in the bag so that when you tie the baggie the water covers the corn. Always use twistie tie wraps. You use regular baggies not ziplock. Ziplock only keeps for a short time . Twist the baggie tight then twist on tie wrap then twist the baggie more and double it creating a U and using the same tie wrap twist tie again. This method will keep your corn fresh for years with zero freezer taste and taste fresh cut years later. You can cut off the ziplocks for baggies or sandwich bags cut off off work great if you cannot find regular freezer baggies. Been done this way in Appalachia for hundred years

Loved this video, and Lived this Life style,my happy place is "my"( in God's) big sky mountains ❤.. what are those dried purple flowers?.. I want to reseach edible flowers and paint them in my journal, that I also use for painting herbs and their uses, medicinally and for salads or other recipes I also like making little dried wreaths, or tiny sachets, with both.I using pressed petals, leaves for making cards..asd a lttle ink or watercolor, they are kind of nice!..Watching the log splitting, brought back lots of memories, of my childhood, both the blisters and the stacking and the lugging it in😂... The boys or grandpa, did most of the splitting, but I always liked to prove, how strong girls can be, just to make my big brother mad!.. We are only 2 years apart, and at now are 71 and 69,I still cannot resist teasing him, and having very fun and sometimes silly debates. I guess I love get older, but probably aim my best notvto "Grow up"... wheres the fun in "Growing up" anyway, that is for those with older spirits, than me!..Love God, say your prayers, but do kot forget to play and keep moving🎉🎉.❤❤
