Please go through the details of the seizure on Ampyra and what happened when you played with the Keppra dose when you talk to your new neurologist. Keppra is a very tricky medication. Look up Keppra+ FDA+side effects. Check if anything appears to fit how you feel. What I think you have said so far is 1) you had been seizure free before Ampyra, 2) you were told to continue Ampyra (wrong advice given the seizure) but discontinued anyway, 3) you were put on Keppra because you had a seizure (probably cause by Amprya) and presumably the Keppra dose has been gradually escalated 4) you decided to reduce the dose of Keppra without medical guidance, 5) You had another seizure, which is possible if Keppra is removed too quickly. The bottom line is before Amprya was introduced you did not need seizure medication. Your new neurologist needs to understand this. Hope it goes well for you.
