When its comes to Fluttershy episodes people keep on complaining that she ls always learning on how to be confident but in the next she is just the same as before but that is because you can not change who you are in a day. It takes more than just a day to grow as a person.

When MLP first started, the Princess Celestia toys were pink, not white. There's a rumour that when Hasbro started making white Celestia toys, they had a lot of leftover pink alicorn blanks, hence the introduction of Cadence.

Yeah, until that finale, none of us had any idea Twilight had a brother EITHER. And I personally love Queen Chrysalis as well. After all of those pastel-colored ponies, the black, aqua, and neon green color scheme was refreshing.

I love how in character it was for Applejack to not take a bite out of the cake. Plus if she did I'm pretty sure she would expose herself immediately because she's the element of honesty

FYI, Celesti only lost because Chrysalis was feeding off Shining Armor's love for Cadence, which is really powerful. So, since Chrysalis was gaining power from that, she was able to defeat Celestia

The thing is with Fluttershy, is that The problem she faces is not something that just ends after an short while.. This is an problem that can take years to heal, or recover from.

The Changeling Queen is named Queen Chrysalis! And as far as recurring characters go, yes. As soon as a character is introduced, you will see them more as the show goes on. You will see a alot more of Shining Armor and Cadence (AND Luna) so no worries there. Good job man.

8:33 Trust me, these episodes actually do matter, these characters actually do develop, Fluttershy especially. It isn't really that easy to suddenly become confident out of nowhere, it wouldn't be realistic if she just changed entirety after one episode, I like how they handle Fluttershy in this show tbh, the changes aren't noticeable as off where you are but it *does* get touched upon later.

I haven't said this before but I'm gonna say it right now! Smurfs you're an amazing reactor!(IMO)***RANT INCOMING!***Because you always wait for the characters to stop speaking before you comment or say something, at least for your MLP reactions (I feel like a hypocrite now), which I really appreciate from a reactor. Some other reactors that I have seen, most of the time they try to shove their unnecessary thoughts over whatever the character is saying, and then they have the guts to say "Wait, what did they say?" or "What's going on?" That makes wanna facepalm every single time. Maybe that's just me but whatever, I'm obviously enjoying your reactions and I'm looking forward for more! :)

I feel like Hurricane Fluttershy had a more mature lesson than the one it gave at the end, and it's one that I took away more than any: Flutters worked her tail off, but it still wasn't "enough". But her friends were there telling her "You really improved! That was amazing!" I had a very similar experience to that around the time of the episode, when I worked and struggled for something I really wanted but it apparently just wasn't meant to be. That was hard. 😖 But it wasn't to waste. ANYHOO YEAH lucky for you Season 3 is half the length of a regular season! :D

This Day Aria is still one of my favourite songs in MLP, Daniel Ingram is a genius with music. The song is in the key of Db Major, that means that the root chord is a Db major chord. Usually, a Ab major chord will lead into a Db major. This is the V-I chord progression and it is also known as the Authentic Cadence. Now, it seems to resolve to a sadder chord at the end of the phrase. Instead of ending on Db major around 1:16, it lands on Bb minor: the relative minor of Db major. Now, when a chord progression seems to be heading to the root chord but lands on the relative minor instead, that is called a Deceptive Cadence. Also This Day Aria is a huge reference to The Little Mermaid (when Ursula is disguised and hypnotises the prince to marry him).

btw, the song from part 2 of the finale "This Day Aria" is actually really nifty. For imposter/Chrysalis!cadence's parts, it has been noticed that they use a music theory technique known as a "deceptive cadence" and for real Cadence, they used an "authentic cadence".

It's not stated in the episode itself, but the Changeling Queen's official name is Queen Chrysalis (because of the whole bug-pony thing). As for whether you'll see her or any of the other changelings again, you'll just have to keep watching. Still, you have a lot more awesome episodes, and awesome villains, to get to.

Here's episode suggestions for Season 3 to react to: 1) The premiere and the finale obviously. As I'm sure you noticed by now, they're gonna be very important and amazing episodes, especially from this point on. 2) Episode 5: "Magic Duel" 3) Episode 6: "Sleepless in Ponyville" 4) Episode 7: "Wonderbolts Academy" 5) Episode 10: "Keep Calm and Flutter On" Those are all important episodes (especially in the long-run). There's a couple more there that are definitely good episodes, but are skip-able if you don't absolutely feel like reacting to them. Those include Episode 4: "One Bad Apple", and Episode 12: "Games Ponies Play".

Given how much you're enjoying the series (and the aspects you seem to most enjoy) I can say I expect you'll find it continues to improve (barring some sub-par episodes of course, I think the things you like about the series get more and more represented in later seasons, namely action/adventure, great songs and the development of certain characters). In my opinion it took the first three seasons for the show to really find and define itself into a format that could really last and become more than it started out as. Season 2 was the start of those developments, but season 3 cements them. As for catching up in time for the movie, I think its doable but you'll probably have to watch a fair number of episodes on your own to save time. To avoid any spoilers when you go see the movie you'll probably have to watch until at least the start of season 6 (though I could be wrong).

The train mystery episode is based off of Murder on the Orient Express, where all the suspects are also culprits. That’s why the outcome of this mystery turned out the way it did.

For anyone in the dark about the train episode and its ending, the whole thing is basically a huge parody of Murder on the Orient Express. It makes a lot more sense if you've read that book ;)
