I bought a purse for $1 from a rummage sale that was new & still was packed with paper inside. Once I got it home & took the paper out, there was a velvet jewelry box containing platinum & diamond antique cufflinks & a stick pin. Sounds like your type of purchase! We're very fortunate to literally find "treasure."

There's a big difference between the beaded bracelets she got from the thrift store & the ones shown that are hundreds of dollars. They aren't even close.

My great grandmother had a spoon ring and gave it to me and it didn’t any of my fingers and I wanted to keep it in the family so o gave it to my sister

Yeah …… no the beaded bracelets you can buy for the same price she thrifted at Walmart. However great find for the spoon ring. I have one and a matching bracelet from the 70’s I’ll give to my girls.
