I'm a medical student and we joke about butt stuff all the time. We study how people get sick and die all day everyday and a lot of us have a fairly dark or dirty sense of humor (or both). Humor is a mature defense mechanism. Also, your channel has really helped me get stronger and make huge progress towards many goals while being the busiest and most stressed I've ever been. Really appreciate all you do!

I think the saddest and most thought provoking thing is how difficult it can be to get the medical help needed in countries like ours. Brian, I had giardia when I worked as a cook in a hunting camp in the mountains of Montana years ago. I was sick for just one fall hunting season but it was awful while I had it. I got it from drinking water out of the Flathead River. It was like a cross between constant morning sickness and stomach flu that wouldn’t go away. I had to ride out of the mountains (thirty miles by horseback) and got tested- first a stool sample and the I had to swallow a pill on a line (like a fish!!)that was weighted and rested down by the duodenum for four hours. Then I was out on meds to get rid of it. I never even thought of that all this time in regard to you! I’m so happy they are on the right path!! I cannot even imagine having giardia as long as you have had to deal with it! My best to you!! This made my day to hear you will be ok.
