Thanks for vid. Very sweet STR. I have a 03 very similar expect I did a 1.9 boost pulley. Also got a intake from Caldoofy but with K&N filter and cat backs. Please update if you remap, would love to see the specs.

Nick, awesome run.... I've grown to like this car more and more recently have had an itch to get something supercharged.... Should i stay away from the 2003 models and look for a 2004 to 2006 model... Also how is the aftermarket support on these cars? I've visited the Jag forums recently and some great info on there.... Wanted a true opinion from an actual owner... thanks Nick... i would keep it simple with a exhaust, intake or filter and maybe smaller pulley...

wanted to know if your car was tuned during this time. some say the 3lb pulley requires a tune with it, but eurotoys website says it doesn't. just wanted to confirm. sick STR , I have an 06 STR as well.

hey for the 3Ib pulley did you have to remove the supercharger to have it put on?

The mechanic needs to file down the snout of the supercharger. It stays on but need someone that knows what they're doing

334 seems to be the upper end of what these make stock. That's a lot of mods and money for little to no improvement. Did you dyno it in stock trim?

That's really not a lot of money for approx 50hp. and the dyno guy is right about optimizing your engine. I had the exact set up on my 03' STR and dynoed at 463 HP. $150 air intake $0 flap door mod $700 exhaust work 2 magnaflow mufflers, cats and x pipe $500 SC pulley and labor

I don't want to be a party pooper here but I'm seriously doubting these numbers. STR with the bolt-ons will be below 400 to the wheels for sure. Please prove me wrong, Do you have some time slips?

It made 334whp. The 400+ hp numbers are after adding 15-20% for drivetrain losses. Kinda like measuring your junk, but starting from under your balls.

hey guys how can i make jag str supercharger whine a little louder ,,,, i would also love to mod mine but really don't like loud exhaust or shit like that but i would like to make sc louder,, i was gonna buy a sc pulley that would give me about 30 to 45 hp but i read the instruction and say some about damages to the sc ,,,,

Carlos Sosa you can get a smaller pulley which will give it some serious noise and/or remove airbox cover

If you remove the S/C you will find there are two silencer holes on either side of the air-charge exit of the S/C. If those two holes are covered (filled-in) by either welding or some other form you will notice an increase in whine. Others have also stated that removing the foam pad from underneath the S/C will also increase noise. I have no personal experience with these mentioned examples, but I do know for sure that when I upgraded to the 2.5" pulley from eurotoys the S/C definately got louder.

430ish whp is actually a lot from these types of car, especially considering the modifications list. A stock STR puts down, on average, 330 whp. So an increase of 100 whp would definately be noticeable. I have all the listed mods in addition to a mild MagnumPowers S/C port and am curious to know how much power the car is putting down. Guess I'll have to wait until I get it on a dyno. What kind of fuel was used?

Hi mate it is just a cat back with centre resinator delete (X-pipe) and some hogh flow back boxes. All custom made at Longlife exhausts

Those 4 bangers ahave fully built engines costing thousands. The turbos take a long time to spool and parts break frequently. This is a luxury super saloon. Not a JDM tuner car.

So go back to the 60s and 70s when v8s were making 200hp, suppose there shit too, you cant put a gtr next to this, this is a luxury car not a supercar, its a motorway stormer not a race car, You are obviously not the sort of person who can appreciate a car for what it is or the work someone has put into it, i bet this is this blokes pride and joy and all you can say is its shit, how about i say your shit, or i say something you put hard work into is shit, how would you like that ? 437bhp with maybe near 600NM or torque is definitely not shit dude..
