We shot most of the video before getting approached by an Aldi employee saying that we can't film in there. So now I have to contact corporate to get permission to film in there.

Yall have given Aldi so much positive advertisement, especially for their vegan products. I'm pretty sure it's a blanket rule to stop people going in there filming stupid pranks and harassing other shoppers. (Remember the milk busting fad?)

TraviTrail • What I want is not the point, although I wouldn’t want to see myself on the internet, but Aldi is probably simply trying to avoid legal problems. This channel is very respectful of other shoppers, but not all people will be. We all know the “people of Walmart” images that have not helped with Walmart’s image. Aldi is just preventing potential problems. Unfortunately, that means innocent videos will also need permission. Plus yes, some people may need their privacy when shopping, you don’t know what’s going on in people’s lives, some people may not want to be found and recognised by others for whatever reason.

Basmati rice is grown in India and doubles in length and becomes very fluffy when cooked. Jasmine rice is grown in Southeast Asia, is very fragrant and is sticky when cooked so it can be easily eaten with chopsticks.

Everyone should politely and professionally reach out to Aldi cooperate and let them know how much we love watching Momdre shop. Maybe they could at least throw some gift cards their way since they can’t film inside. These videos have brought Aldi new customers after all!

Guys, don't be too harsh on the Aldi folks. They're probably just following their rule book, doing their job, can't blame them for that. That being said, I do hope you guys get permission, because those videos really are fun, and it definitely would be in Aldi's interest as well. :) However, they're PROBABLY mostly worried about the privacy of the other customers, and let's be perfectly honest here, it's a fair point.

@@somethingnotreal4674 Yeah, but thanks to Craig and his mum, they're getting free advertisement. Most people I know wouldn't even shop at Aldi, but thanks to this vid, they shop there. Aldi should be grateful. Lmao! Nobody really watches TV anymore in this modern era and most people turn to KZfaq, so people will see these vids and boom, Aldi will get more customers! They made a bad decision to stop them filming there. Also, privacy? That doesn't exist in public. You want privacy, then stay at home or wear a disguise.

Jasmine rice is predominantly used in Thai cooking whilst basmati is primarily for Indian dishes 😊

Maybe a customer complained about the filming. It wouldn't bother my husband at all, but I don't allow pictures or videos of my children to be out on Facebook, the news, or the newspaper. When I see people filming, I tend to walk on another isle to avoid the issue. I like watching the videos with Aldi. When you show the new products, I start looking for them.

You're mom buys blue berries like I do. There is no such thing as too many blue berries. The really fun thing was that Terry kept walking around the Aldi poised with her pen while there was no use for it. If I had an Aldis by me, I'd shop there. Edit: I just did a search to the closest one near me thinking there'd be one at least in Salt Lake. Nope. The closest from Utah is in Porterville, CA lol. I can see driving 45 minutes if I'm in the area, for a deal buuut not 494 miles lol.

I found out about all the vegan products by watching y'all! Love the vegan chickenless strips, BBQ and something else they have been out of for so long I can't even remember. Wish my local Aldi had daiya cheese and restocked more often. The coconut milk is pretty good. They should send you vouchers, you are better than the commercials they are paying for!

To answer the question about the rice , the jasmine rice is just a little shorter and rounder then the basmati rice. The basmati rice always becomes twice it’s Size when cooked and is softer && fluffier then jasmine rice.
