If you have the ability to get a Chinese work visa and the ability to find a stable job in China, it doesn't need a lot of money, I guess.

It's not easy to live there long term because they don't give many work visas. I don't think it's possible to retire there.

@@dleu1234 It has nothing to do with the cost of living there in China. If I can't obtain a visa to live there long term then I couldn't live there. I could only visit for a month or two.

中国文化是孝顺父母长辈，交朋友先要看对方对父母好不好，如果对父母不好的人，一般就不会与他深交。一个不能善待自己父母的人，他们不会真诚的待朋友。Lizzy 待你母亲好，甚至还把床加垫子让其更软一点，值得称赞。

@@user-ot8ko5zb9z Very chilled and relaxing atmosphere here, Locals are so welcoming, apart from the normal paperwork for visas and permits, etc, which is a little frustrating, enjoying it ,, highly recommend Dali if you want to escape the hectic city life etc...thanks for showing interest Peace

“Like mother, like daughter. “ Lizzy, So happy for you and your mom. ❤❤❤ Do please find some nice local market/farmers market/ outdoor market. 早市或赶集。Your mom would love shopping for fresh produce. All moms do. But do be careful with mushrooms. Some particularly kind could be poisonous and needs to be carefully prepared. Do ASK. Hope your mom can settle down and adapt to her new life (and the weather) soon. Look forward to more of your and her adventures! 🎉 🎉🎉
