Not only that, but she also allowed her daughter to shower only once a week and didn't let her use too much toilet paper just to save money.

Here's a story that I got bullied in school cause I was on my period So basically my Grandma buys me the thin pads But I need to use the heavy bleeding one Once. I was at teacher table in class And then I asked to go to the bathroom And then I looked at the chair and there was blood on there And then finally she let me went to the bathroom Then I looked at the mirror and I was all Stain Then I went to the Stall And my pad was all bald up And tons of blood was coming out Now the only thing I just had to do was just be all stain And I wanted to go to the nurse, but my teacher didn't even let me. After that we went to specials and we were in line. And then one of my bully saw me and then there were making fun of me and I have to put my sweater on After that I stained The floor and I was crying and people were laughing at me.Even my my jacket was all Stain. But that's what happened all because of my stupid Grandma

Some girls, like Lily, can suffer from certain periods at a young age, shooting pains, colic, etc. Her mother did not even have regrets in not helping her with that problem, her classmates make them laugh about it. Useless. Her grandfather was her only consolation when she was in the hospital for pneumonia, Lily changed the reason, always spend with him, but never with her evil mother, she would end up alone, with money, and without a daughter .

The dad still left the mom in the end. Maybe he never cared about either her nor his daughter. The only reason the dad stayed was because the mom had money. The grandfather saw this and took custody of her daughter. A better ending should've had him cut her mom off without a cent and disown her. She sobs and begs her dad(the girl's grandfather) for a 2nd chance. The grandfather refuses and tells her off that she lost her only chance to make things right. All she ever cared about was money and her POS husband was no better. The grandfather mentions that the mom better tell him that she has no money to spend on him and orders her to leave her daughter's hospital room. He exclaims that he calls the cops and has her along with the loser father charged for abuse if she refuses to do as he tells her. The mom returns back home to inform her husband that her dad cut her off and is going to press charges against them. He tells her off that he never wants to see her again. The mom begs her husband to stay, but he refuses. He points out that he only needed her because she had money. Without it, the husband has no use for the mom and confesses that he had been cheating on her with his side girl. He divorces her and leaves her for good. The mom is left to sell everything she had to pay bills, but it's not enough and the bank forecloses on her home. She is forced to move out as a result. The mom tries to apply for jobs, but everyone refuses to hire her because of how she treated her daughter. 10 years later, the mom is broke and begs her daughter to forgive her for her terrible behavior. She tells her mom off that she will never forgive nor forget what she did to her. The only family she has is her grandfather and her own family. That her mom lost her rights to be a part of it years ago when she neglected her own child's needs for the sake of chasing money. The daughter leaves her where she is and walks away smiling. The mom is left to regret everything she's done to her daughter too late and is alone, broke and homeless.

I find my self so lucky that when I got my first periods, my mom and dad themselves went to the medical store and bought me many packets of pads just because they wanted me to be comfortable in what i was wearing at all times irrespective of the price even though I'm born in a middle class family. Fortunately, menstrual products have come a much longer way since then. In addition to menstrual pads, we have menstrual tampons, reusable menstrual cups, reusable menstrual discs, and even menstruation-specific undies to help absorb the blood and moisture when our periods show up with no PMS to give us time to get our menstruation products and possible change of undies and clothes ready.

I am now 75, and I can remember my mother cutting up old towels to make menstrual pads for me when I was 12. Highly uncomfortable, thick and embarrassing. None of the other girls in my class made remarks about this, but I still felt wretched and unworthy. I suppose I was lucky that they did not leak.

Lily's mother is cruel and very selfish woman as she only care about making money and never really show any concern for her at all but I'm glad Lily's grandfather decided to be her guardian because Lily deserved a better normal life rather staying with her vile mother who never value family in the first place. But I wished AniMatter have change the ending slightly like Lily's grandfather report her mother to the police for child abuse and scam because I would like to see her locked away for life as a punishment for her evil deeds.

I felt bad for the girl, but it's more than crushing when the person you love most leaves you because of something you can't control. Especially when you're pregnant. A lot of people don't know this, but pregnant women are at a much grater risk for illnesses and injuries. This includes the possibility of miscarrying due to illness and injuries. A pregnant woman should never be left to fend for herself; she's not just responsible for her anymore. She's responsible for her unborn baby.

My mum uses diapers because they are more comfortable but she allows me to use pads.

Ma'am buy store brand pads and they don't charge tax for it. How you're a millionaire and be insanely cheap! I'm sorry but not flushing the toilet not buying menstrual products and not taking showers daily is unsanitary and it's child neglect.

The grandfather shouldn't have given her money, he should have had her arrested for child abuse and neglect. Even the daughter could have testified against her. I understand about saving money but that was going way too far.
