When I was depress (“was”, praise God)i used to hate the mornings and the sun but in my times of quite time with God i’ve learnt so much about the mornings, at the sunrise with my heavenly father, the significance of everyday.

I spent time floating in a little blow up boat on a lake yesterday looking at the mountains while thinking about God and His word. I have never felt more connected to the Lord as I did in that moment. It was beautiful and was a wonderful feeling. I think nature is where I feel God's presence the most

As a pastor, I am amazed how many people don’t put God first. I find myself apologizing to God for how we dismiss Him. I love and need quiet time with God. By the way, I was an art teacher before I became a pastor. Ashley, if it is in God’s plan you can go to art school. I did, double majored, answered God’s call, got a MDiv and a doctorate. If it’s God’s plan. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

I really like how you emphasized how our quiet time is not only intellectual, and as someone who is very artistic I feel like I’ve always kind of had a fight with the thought like if I’m painting I could be reading the Bible, and I guess that guilt? But it’s true like you said our worship should from the posture our heart and it shouldn’t be a ritual. It’s a beautiful and inspiring way of how you put our quiet time with God in perspective. May God bless you grandly and use you through the gift he’s given you in art as well!

What a GOD inspired video. GOD is still drawing and inviting us to come back to the garden, to walk and talk with HIM. It is all about our relationship with JESUS CHRIST, that is the most important relationship we will ever have. I believe we can not know how to really love people unless we know the unconditional love of JESUS CHRIST and GOD the FATHER. GOD bless you Ashley. ❤️🙏😊

Quiet time is such a special time with Him. It’s interesting I have two, morning and evening, but some days only one. I found out I have to change it every once and while so it’s always a joy. Joy is something I strife for. Anyway- keep spreading the Good news!

First of all, the cinematography and sound in this video is incredible! I've been watching your videos here and there since 2019 and I'm impressed by how much the quality of your videos have improved. This video couldn't have come at a better time. I decided last year that I wanted to come back to art. I fell in love with art in middle school but didn't go to art school because my family discouraged me from doing so. I was heart broken but I understood why they did it and decided to give up on having an art career. But time and time again I find myself coming back to it. I'm at the point now where I can't see myself doing anything else. Like you said I believe that God is calling me to use this gift he gave me for his glory. I don't usually turn on notifications for premier videos and I sure don't think it was a coincidence I did so today. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for this video...it actually made me cry because lately I have been putting SO much pressure on what my quiet time looks like and how I'm not doing enough. There are days when life is really hard and it's difficult to read the word, but this video reminded me that I don't have to read a set amount of anything; I can just be in my Father's arms...and that's enough! I feel like God has given me a passion for artsy things. I love to journal, get out in nature, paint, etc. This video really reminded me that I can use those passions and give them to back to God as worship. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Now I have to re-watch the video to write all of this down to look back on when I start to get back into the legalistic stuff :-)

I love this so much ! I been literally thinking of little ways to feel that closeness with our Heavenly Father I been asking him to bring me back to that first love ! 🤎& this came up on my page ! I love walking outside and talking to him that’s when I feel close to him expressing the beauty of his creative nature and etc ! Also could you possibly do a video of how to hangout with God Alot In the day because I am a very busy person and Somtimes it's hard, I do take time with him every morning just I feel like it's not enough.

I got on to watch this and didn't realize it was live. I had to go to work so I couldn't sit for it this morning. I really enjoyed it and I'm glad you said there isn't a mold. It has to be our own thing and how we use our quiet time is something that we need every day. Mine always consists of scripture and prayer. I can't operate properly in my life without reading the Bible and praying every day. Thank you for this today Ashley!

This is truly a beautifully filmed video..loved your words of no condemnation, but wonderfully encouraging and you have such amazing gift of art. I have been sharing your channel with my family and friends both here and in the U.K. (I’m a very very homesick Brit in the US!) I have always struggled with routine..and have finally told myself it’s ok, I don’t have to do things perfectly..God loves me just the way I am..I am still trying to figure out my passions/gifts though! Would love a video on how you pray..what do you say and in what order perhaps a pray out loud video? Also, would you ever offer Christian counselling..you, your sister and your mum would be amazing in counselling/life coaching..thank you and God bless

I enjoy coffee and Bible time; however, I have to be honest. The spirit is quench often when listening. I understand the commercials for monetary purposes, it just throws the spirit off for me a lot. Also the plugs within the messages. Maybe a different video for those would awesome. I’m not “hating” or “trolling”, just speaking for me and my Spirit. @@r.m5883 I was over producing fluid in my brain. They had to add a shunt, and with doing that they did find a mass. 🥹 I am trusting in GOD that I will be okay.

I started doing yoga is it okay for a Christian to do yoga? I don't like for people to tell me their beliefs just because they think that they know about yoga what should I do?

I struggle to read the bible and pray daily. I don't have a routine and I don't think the mornings are the best time of day to make my quiet time. The best time is around 16:00 4 o'clock middag, but mostly that time is full in my day. Hmmm I really try to get more structure. I have a app Glorify and it helps, but I want to read the bible and get deeper and study more, but my brains makes it really heavy and much. 🥲 Maybe some bible reading plans but building up slowly.
