Nothing wrong with the longer route, enjoy the journey! I am in a similar boat to you, immigrated to the US at 29, feel like I'm behind when in social settings, but ahead when you look at medians/averages in the US and World. I've quickly learned that those who show off and boast about wealth in an arrogant way are often broke or in a lot of debt.

Really interesting thought there, that people might have a harder time holding real estate if the value updated second by second like stocks. My financial profile was very similar to yours at 30, 5 years ago. You're doing very well. Nice video.

@@calumx yep, and I wish you all the good fortune I've had. Things felt speedier after 300k, but my income is low so it might be a bigger number for you where things really pick up.

I track my Net Worth monthly as well. I'm also 30 but only just starting the road to wealth a year ago. Hopefully, I'll be where you are 5 years from now. Honestly, I would love to be free and live in a cave again. I'm just afraid of being old poor and used up. I just want lean fire to live a free adventurous life.

Thank you. Never had student debt. Had free state tuition. So yeah luckily have never had debt to pay off!

Nice! I started by buying a camera and learning how to shoot photo and video by watching youtube videos and practicing. I would recommend starting a youtube channel and start making videos for yourself. Then doing some free work for others and building up. But it is a pretty easy career to get into and it can pay very well.

Thanks man. I first heard of OTC stocks on a podcast. Then got familiar with otcmarket.com. Then would just find the businesses. Go to their websites. Read the company filings, and research them like any listed stock. There are some really good investors on twitter that traffic in that space and they will tweet out good companies and you can do research from there.

I haven't calculated my savings rate in a while but I save a super high percentage of my income. Can't say top stocks bc I think that is irresponsible

Thanks for sharing man, you inspired me to work harder. I don't have networth at a moment, I have a $17K car loan. I just started investing and mainly do index funds and few individuals stocks like Nvidia and CRWD for now already saved up $5K. Hoping to invest $30-40k a year. You're doing better than most of us. Keep it up!
