@@ducatinyc I received the motorcycle in December last year, and where I live, the season starts in March / April, so I'm just starting to enjoy it. However, I drove a test drive last year and it convinced me to buy it. I took the red Moto GP cover Kit at start, so it has a different painting. Now the plan is to change the fender to a shorter one, next will be the mirrors :)

Ducatis are premium bikes, sure they cost a little more but if you have the means you're gonna love the experience of ownership. I've had my 2012 Streetfighter 848 for 2 years now & it's always fun to ride. Also, having 2 bikes is a good idea if you commute daily. You'll want that backup because one needs to spend the a night or 2 with the mechanic, just the nature of motorcycles. My Indian spent almost 3 weeks at the shop once because the odometer stopped working, rode the Ducati the whole time. Love your vlog, keep it up!

And also don't feel bad about using the new bike, let the old bike rest a bit it's been a soldier in rain and sun. Take it out on occasions for nostalgia. The new bike needs some love. Congrats! Got the 2021 and i put the rizoma drag bar for a more agressive riding position. I couldnt recommend it enough, it changed a really fun bike into an awesome one.

I lowered the bars on my 620 and it changed it up for sure. I'll def consider the drag bar for the new one, as well as the raised seat, i think that 20mm would do wonders.

More specially your "NEW YORK CITY, SLAYED" video. I've had 3 bikes since then, but I've always kept my first bike. I'm a Kawasaki boy through and through but damn, that new Ducati looks good. Im a bit intimidated to do the engine swap but that will be a whole new experience in itself and the bike deserves it. NYC Slayed.... that was a great vid. I love the FOV on this monster more than the street fighter too. The like, lowered down gauge cluster/speedo thing on the street fighter looks like an accident. This one, MUCH better. I love it.

Congrats man!! Wish I could get the new monster myself but the only ducati dealer around here is absolutely awful. Its like they are trying to be as rude as possible. A year ago I had a brand new Ducati Multistrada 950 s. After a week or so it refused to start and I had a 4 year warranty on it. I turned to the dealer and they seriously asked "what do you want us to do about it?"

That is gross. I'm so sorry about your experience. Sadly I've heard similar stories about other Ducati spots too, even around here. But don't give up on the brand due to rude service.

@@ducatinyc Thank you, there's definitely a lot to love. I also got a single-sided swing arm and dry clutch. Feels fun to have all the Biscotti doodads. I bet that new bike of yours is a big experience upgrade. All new, very light and with amazing power. I bet she flys.

Congrats on the bike! She's a beauty. Enjoy and have lots of smiles while riding her. For tires with your local conditions, simular to mine, I would recommend the Metzeler Sportec M9 RR. Sporty tires that stick in cold and wet weather and even last surprisingly well for a sports tire. ;) Had and have them again on my MT-09, dealy commuting lasting for 14k kilometers, so not bad at all...
