Congratulations on your car.. beautiful ! I got the Brooklyn Grey about a month ago. Living in Canada, I can tell you, it is amazing in the snow with proper winter tires on. So planted ! Enjoy your ride. Looking forward to your mods. Will give me some ideas 😎

Great car! Hoping to get one myself. I hope you can get some shots of it at night featuring the ambient lighting. Pretty much every other review out there has no night shots or just gloss over the lighting bits. Do the ones with the "M colors" on the door handles still change light at night?

I ordered one in this color, with the oyster interior and every option checked. Was set to be built in March, but I delayed it by another month to get the ///M 50th Anniversary badges. My first BMW and I'm stoked!

How far did they push your build back and what did you have to say for them to secure an anniversary model for you? Thanks!

@@BubbleMayhem All I had to do was call my sales guy up after I saw the badges go live on the BMW web configurator and tell him I wanted those on my order. He said he had some back and forth with BMW about production, but ultimately my existing March slot had to be relinquished for a normal allocation since you need an April or later slot to get the badges (+$200 USD on Mx40i models, standard on full M cars). April production is not open for scheduling, yet.

@@vomErsten Thanks for the response, my company is going back to in person start of q2 so unfortunately it looks like the timing doesn’t really work out for me. Might ask the dealer if they can put things on for me retroactively, otherwise, a bit of a bummer. Congrats on your order!

@@BubbleMayhem They can, I was told price of badges aftermarket is $450. I am replacing a totalled S3 with this, so I relate to your crunch. I am fortunate to have a project car that's in a mostly drivable state to tide me over. I am actually contemplating canceling and holding out for the M2, have not decided yet. My project may also conk out and force my hand to get something off a lot, lol.

🔥🔥fantastic car! Congratulations… i defenitly subscribed. I have almost the exact same spec M240i coming first week of March (ordered september 2021), and should be one of the very first customer registered M240i in Belgium. Super excited to be getting it! 💜 I also have some Mperformance parts waiting at the dealer to be installed immediatly at delivery. Altough I really hate carbon fiber look, I have had the spoilers and splitters repainted in high gloss black, matching the other high gloss black details on the exterior. Lowering springs 30mm and spacers will also be installed immediatly after collecting the car. Curious to see how yours will become! 😈

Can you do a video after you have the rear carbon lip installed? I’m thinking about having the same carbon lip done to mind but not sure if it’s too much for the car. Thanks brother!

That would be great… I have the complete front splitter, side wings and interior trim sitting ready at the dealer, awaiting my car. I just didn’t order the trunk spoiler as I think it is a bit to much. On almost every picture I saw it, I don’t like it. Only looks ok, straight from the back, but side view, it looks very very weird 🤷🏼

Wheels are ready to go on the car. However, there aren’t any suspensions available yet which is why it takes some time. Looks like a brand new suspension will be developed with my car!
