Its a standard rubber lip that you can buy on amazon. Just stick it on and holds perfectly.

Looks like fun but how does it handle going through deeper, untracked snow? Seems like the instability and rear-end bias would be a bit of a handful if you're driving up a mountain pass and there's like 6-8"+ of unplowed snow. Like, could it get you up to the mountain if there's a significant blizzard and the lot has a foot of snow in it? Obviously would be riding on snow tires. I live in Utah where we get more than 2x the snow as the Alps, so it could likely be a bit of a handful, compared to say a Subaru or Audi which are much more popular around here.

Hi, my choice would be this M50d, because it's the most powerful diesel. If you drive a lot and don't want to go to the gas station everytime, you should consider the 40d or the m50d, depending on the power you want ;) But if you can afford the gasoline price, of course the best is the X5M And if you don't drive long distances, perhaps the X5 50i with ethanol ?

Mine arrived in February and I’ve had the suspension rebuilt which was expensive, and other general fettling. It’s superb! Took it on a 750kms drive on highways and b-roads to shake it down and settle the suspension. I’m just in love with it. I have 6 cars, but almost always jump into the M491. And it turns heads and gets a reaction everywhere!

Sounds awesome! I've had big challenges to get the car registered here in Switzerland. The next appointment will be on the 10th of December, fingers crossed! Video hopefully to follow afterwards. I talked about it in my latest video (I bough another 944)
