Even though its still fairly new, I think this album is heavily underrated, I understand the want for them to make something more like their first two but they've showed us time and time again that their sound is not limited to that fast paced garage rock, the versatility of this band is unmatched. Who knows, maybe in the future they might go back towards the hard Rock direction but I highly doubt it'll sound anything like we've had before and that's what makes me excited to listen to whatever they put out. And we can't argue that "the car" isn't their best sounding record because it is by far

Absolutely love your comment!!! Of course there’s always going to be that want for the sound that hooked you initially, but I love how you and other fans are embracing their new style! And you’re right! They could always pivot!! And I still can’t stop going back to Hello You! 😂🔥

Personally for me it's not a want for them to go back, I've loved each sound, but this one just hasn't been for me like the others have. I like it, but for me every other album by them has been phenomenal and this has just been good-great

You can see the growth in their albums. I admire them. They never do what's expected of them. Alex Turner is a genius, his lyrics and understanding of music blows my mind. Also, wanted to say I really like your videos. Usually music reaction videos are pathetic, because people only make wired faces and read the lyrics trying to understand what the song us about. It's pretty obvious that you really understand music. Good job.

I have to tell you, I’ve had a pretty horrible week and I have been very sad these past couple of days, but your comment just made me smile the biggest smile and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it 🙏🏾 thank you so much for the kind words. In regards to AM, yes, they’re so exquisite in music. They are always moving to the beat of their own drum, never reaching for records, and always releasing quality regardless of any varying opinions 🙏🏾

really enjoyed your reaction! and i totally agree with how r&b-heavy and vintage this album sounds, my jaw was on the floor when i first heard this album. the boys just continue to prove how versatile they are and how they can push the boundaries and reach new heights even 20 years into their career. i will always have the utmost respect for them for always staying true to their artistry and putting out sincere work instead of just putting out what others want to hear from them or what brought them mainstream success. can't wait to watch your other arctic monkeys reactions, cheers!

i just absolutely adore this album. i was able to see them last year while they were touring for this new album & hearing these songs live were such an out of body experience. love your reaction and thoughts man!! ive been watching you since i started high school & now I'm about to graduate university, so it's always dope to watch your content:)

Amazing album as someone who’s been a AM fan since the debut came out I think Tranquility base and the car have been some of the best things they’ve done. Great reaction as always.

Really enjoyed this reaction, you've actually made me think of the album and songs in a different light, as I really didn't respond to most of it myself. Makes me want to revisit it with a new mindset! Great vid!! Also if you haven't yet listened to it and you're looking for more suggestions I'd love to see your reaction to What's Your Pleasure? by Jessie Ware (2020), it's groovy and feel good so I would think you'd have a good time with it!

@@TheTuneUp so just watching this now as I was busy yesterday! I can see why you love it. I think for me the difference is that I'm the kind of fan who will listen to songs on repeat and this album is more of an *experience*. So was Tranquility Base, but I still feel like the songs on that record stood out more individually. The Car is something I have to listen to in full, and have to be in a specific mood for, while with their other albums I can just play any song when I feel like it. This album is definitely a good mood. It's worth noting that, lyrically, this is about the band, specifically Alex, wanting to make what they feel like, and it's about the fans and how their past music influences them. Body Paint is my favourite personally and I've played it a lot I'm glad you loved it and you're still liking AM! Suck It and See, the last one you havent heard, is an interesting one because some people absolutely love it, and some see it as the black sheep. Personally, I love the vibe of it. I'm interested to see what you think to that one. Bear in mind that it sits between Humbug and AM. It's a shame you didn't go through the albums chronologically like you did with Panic! as you would really see the outlandish shifts with each album Finally, I'm looking forward to Muse Will of the People, but im really not sure if you'll love it or loathe it. Part of me thinks you'll meet down the middle, as there's some tracks in the second half that are just *good*

I just love how cinematic this is. It's not a super interesting album than you're gonna enjoy in the same way as AM or even TBHC, but that's not really the point. It feels like it was created to be a loungey soundtrack. I could see this type of stuff being in The Godfather or some indie French movie lol. It feels kinda like a cop out to say its meant to be background music, but with that perspective it really is beautifully produced and composed.
