That definitely was an awesome case. Shame I was out of practice with the Scalectrix... though I still blame it on the fact that there was no more grip left in the tyres when I had a go 🤣 Looking forward to seeing how you'll top that at the next show

@ShadowFoam While I review and test as many tools as I can. Makita has been my preference. I've been using Makita for well over 2 decades.

@@edtheoldtechguy I’m a Makita man too, my dad got me on to them, although as you can imagine with my job, I get my hands on all manner of tool brands - always hold a special place for Makita though, you never forget your first

@ShadowFoam Hey if you ever want to live stream. Would live to introduce you to my ragtag audience of DIYers mechanics and tool nuts. We are a small group but we buy a lot of tools and foam is one of those things we all brag about.

Its a great idea for some circumstance, but that large I can see it not being to easy to transport unless you have a van and a large workspace to open it up in. I think I would replace the torch with a Unilite or something similar. Definitely needs a hammer as well!!

@@ShadowFoam Lov your product and for display purposes this rocks....but lets be real way way to much weight for anyone to carry on a regular basis even on rollers and its an odd mix of tools even for a handyman. I get this is to sell the product....My personal choice would be the boxes you showed on a stack cart, then you can pick and choose your tools for the job and the parts that go with each one in an individual box. Great assortment I just dont see it as practical.

Since cutting out the shapes is the hardest after layout ...maybe offer the tool cutouts for those of us who find that part challenging..... or the tool companies could offer it online? also you mentioned the placement of the parts in relation to weight distribution. ...maybe offer more insight into the layout whys and nots for those who just jump ahead and start cutting.

Great Video, But How Do you Remove the horizontal Foam material without ripping through the bottom? Example, you cut & Rip out? or Do you cut, Pull & Fillet the horizontal cuts? for the tool base? The video went fast

I just peel out enough foam for the tools to fit nicely and the foam is dense enough to remain rigid in the case

You’ve don’t the opposite of my current project. I’ve bought a makita makpac type 3 and the shadows foam inserts to turn it into an airsoft pistol case lol
