Great vids bee! Always enjoy you. I'm glad you like the defiant. I chose the elite this season. Just felt better for me. I still enjoy the carbon spyder though. Hoyt has always been nice and top notch to me. Just liking the new elite lineup. Nock on brother

Just got the Carbon Defiant Turbo yesterday. I put a HHA Optimizer Lite on it, tuned it, and am now sighted in from 5 to a HUNDRED yards. The speed is great and groups are tight. This is thee nicest compound bow I have ever owned by far!

Got my Carbon Defiant about 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier! I actually liked it so much I've been using it as a tournament bow! Mainly 3D tournaments and it's won me quite a few local ones. Great bow and I highly recommend it to anyone out there looking!

The piece you didnt know what it was looks like a felt piece that folds onto a whale tail to keep it silent. I am not sure, but it looks just like the one from John Dudleys new rest. Nice video! Keep up the good work!

Hey Chris, big fan of your content here! I currently have a Defiant 34 that I bought used. I know now that you shoot Matthews. Was there any defining moment that pushed you to shoot matthews. Would like to know what made you change

I noticed there is there no Hoyt engraving on your wooden grip?? is this the grip that came with it ??? because when they advertise this bow on the website it has the word Hoyt engraved on the grip ...just curious because I'm about to buy this and would like to know

I currently shoot the carbon spyder 30 which i love, and i would consider getting a carbon defiant if i could sell mine. I was just curious of your honest opinion on how much better this bow really is? The technology has obviously improved but is it light years difference or do you still like the carbon spyder as well? I'm afraid i'd get a defiant and should just wait another year or 2 and get the new one they come out with....

Truly agree with the video going around on Hoyt frustration. "New bow/paint job with same old specs...that's it I'm going to Bowtech"...How much does Hoyt pay you for the advertising or do they send products?

James Paquette I am passionate about Hoyt products and stand behind them because there is no one in the industry that meet their standards. They are a top notch company with top notch equipment. Period. After going to the factory and seeing how bows are made, my mind is set. The DEFIANT series is leading the edge in accuracy and reliable technology, and this bow is the bees knees.

Chris Bee simply had too many problems with my daughters AND my Procomp elite. Its 2000+ dollars for that bow up here in Canada but with the cam shimming, limb pocket noise and limb pocket breakage, these are not things that one should encounter with a premium bow. Its bad when a service person mentions that it was made on a Monday because they were probably still hung over! I love my Hoyts but I'm not made of money and the target market isn't exclusive anymore.
@MrWizardjr97 жыл бұрын
all of that is covered by by warranty
@jamesvpaquette7 жыл бұрын
yes your right...except the noise. There is nothing they can do. The pockets were warrenty but this shouldn't happen on a premium bow. The inability to tune centre shot led to ordering shims. Again not something that should have left factory. My final word is they make great product. They have issues with RND and quality control at times that put re-purchase of their product in question. The pocket issue should have been a recalled. The pocket/limb noisr is simply unacceptable for a 2000$ bow(in Canada). The dealer saying that there is nothing that can be done is poor as well. Lots of Pro's are leaving and Mathews took the outdoor record. if PSE tops thst you can start putting the nails in the Hoyt coffin.

James Paquette i never had those problems with hoyt you must have just gotten unlucky. i am a bit of a computer nerd and everyone once in a while a computer component arrives DOA or have some other problem and i just RMA it and this happens to every computer component manufacturer and even to their top line of parts like intel's i7 6950x. with all the bows hoyt is producing there has to be a few faulty ones. also hoyt still retains some of the top archers like sara lopez and mike schloesser
