my shop is coming together its taking a long while for get it right this is a Quick look at my new Altendorf WA6 , see how we got it in the show , and place it read for acrion.. no technical stuff just a quick look .

Great investment. It's the king of wood cutting equipment. As are the Felder machines. The mitre gage is really useful

Very nice saw. So smooth & quiet. We had 2 of these at my old cabinet shop, when i worked there 20 years ago. Apparently when they were delivered they were loaded with German booze.

Good on you for following your passion - it shows in everything you do! Fine tools like the Altendorf, Felder and Festool definitely helps! Definitely no Workshop Compromises to get in the way of your vision for creating Artistic pieces. And that’s what I like......

for me the cross cut sled didn't cut it Lol.. I need to straighten live edge boards etc as well and sheet goods so after buying Festool Ts75 I stopped uing my old table saw.. but I miss the speed or repeat cuts and setting anlges .. so the TS75 is out as if the MFTas well :) to help fund this beast

can this cut 2 or more sheets at the same time since it has a large diameter blade and a powerful motor.

Haha.. not really but directly making money from my workshop is were I am heading. less Tree work and bespoke house development .. more woodwork more shop work :) .. cheers

Can you rip full length plywood with the cross cut fence in place? So pushing the sheet against the cross cut fence and ripping a full 96" and clearing the blade after the cut? Thank you.

It’s a 3m slider so will cut a full 118’ in old money:)

Is this single phase power for this saw? I’m in the market for a sliding saw and really wanting to learn more about all that’s out there. Where would you say, in your own opinion, this one is in comparison to a Felder K700S slider? Thx

nice beast ! my felders just came yesterday, format saw and bandsaw and I can't wait to put them to work. Best Christmas ever :) no need for extra gift !

Nice , I love Felder .What did you buy ????? I just could get the Panel Saw spec in my budget , but the FB510 is just amazing .. my next purchase a large Planner /Thicknesser which I thick will be AD741 if I can get the right deal..:)

I buy the FB610 (it's so big !) the saw spindle moulder KF 700 and the AD741. perfect combo i think. I need to wait for the guys from felder to come to install them... it's torture to look at them without using them ! I follow your videos for some times because I like what you done but also you show the capability of your FB510 so i was certain that i made a good choice going for felder ! thank you for the extra work of filming your woodworking !

that is an amazing set up .. Saw / spindle moulder was my other option .. its a great way to go ..! and space saver... nice one ..

I've watched quote a few of your videos and I enjoy your style and presentation. I'm wondering what is your bread and butter work? What kind of stuff are you making and for who? How do you get your clients?

WOW impressive!!! I´m buing an intere felder workshop (line 700) but since I´he seen the altendorf at this price I was thinking about change the sliding saw (felder k700p) with the wa6. I wonder if you could advise me on the best buy.

I love Felder the bandsaw and Planner are perfect. ! I have to say the Altendorf WA6 is so well built feels heavier duty than the K700, also the saving on saw gave me the cash to buy the bigger 510 planner.:)

Cristian Silvestri I would take the Felder. Felder machines are handmade In Austria and most altendorfs are made in China but the only way to know is try.

The Farmer came back with lifted the machine free after un boxng .. I am still trying to work out what to upload agent keeping this short .. please keep asking for stuff I will get a better Idea of what you all like.. Best Andy

Hi. I’m looking at possibly buying one of these. How have you found using this saw? Any complaints? Is the extension arm ok for cross cutting heavy hardwood boards? Also, if you were to go back in time, would you still buy one? Thanks, Paul.

It does look like a lovely saw. I’m also looking at Hammer/Felder low range, just not sure what would be the equivalent in their range. Hammer K4 or felder 500 series maybe 🤔

Manor Wood from my personal perspective I'm presently using a contractor tablesaw was looking to upgrade to a cabinet saw but also need ability to cut melamine regularly and very few cabinet saw have a scribe blade. Now started looking at panelsaws but they are considerably more expensive so any videos that show it in use will help. Any advice always welcomed

OK got it , you will see me using the saw in most build these days , I know its called a panel saw but it is so useful for putting a straight edge on a live edge board or simply cutting angles , would would even say it better that a mitre saw for that as well much easier to set up and see what your cutting when working on lots of angles . I only keep my Kapex to save moving the setting on the WA6 when I only need to chop a quick length..

After watching this video and reading your post about the mitre saw, I am ready to move forward with buying one of these. I am just a little hung up on Felders mitre index system. However for the price your saw is excellent. I hope to decide soon on which to buy. Thanks for the great videos.
