Thanks. 👍 - I used a very quick drying stain on the stock and dabbed it on. Once it was dry I used a quick drying matt varnish to seal it. I'm pleased with the result! 🙂

The brand of paint is "flame orange" and is a matt grey primer which looks exactly like parkerising, ie: grey in some light and green in other light.

Hi there. As I said in the video, I filled the stock with mastic and poked lots of 10mm ball bearings into the mastic as I filled it. The mast glues the ball bearings in place, so they don't rattle at all. ' Hope that helps.

I'll give it a shot as I think it's abit on the light side. So it's the sling shot ammo 10mm BBs I need? And you got it from 7.7 lb to near 10 lb that's sick.

@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 what exactly is the process you used for the wood? Was there any sanding required? I’m planning to do something similar on the Umarex S&W M29, I believe they use the same faux wood for all their models.

All I did was gave a couple of coats of quick drying wood stain and then a coat of quick drying varnish. I then gave it a light sanding, which left the "grain" underneath showing through, but left the plastic with a darker stain.
