CONGRATULATIONS to you. You set goals and once accomplished, you treat yourself. That's what I did when I bought my date just II. I believe everyone should set goals of where they want to be in life in a certain amount of time. Everything you said is spot on I just hope many people listen and get what they TRULY want in life. The watch is fantastic and I’d enjoy having the Day-Date 40 in my collection. However the 36mm version like the 18238 with champagne dial is the real and classic “President” that is in a class by itself. I think the 36mm and 40mm are completely different watches and in my opinion both belong in any serious Rolex collection. Having a platinum version would be a great acquisition also.

I used to think the yellow gold/champagne dial was for old men, but this is the one to have. Classic Rolex President. The 40 is the perfect size. Congrats on the watch. It's awesome.

Never since I could remember. I always wanted this Rolex. After time I'm able to actually buy myself this Rolex instead I went with a full gold Yacht-Master to and the new 2024 GMT gold with jubilee. I love the daydate gold! hella nice! I got my OP39 black last year. Love that one two but it doesnt scream «look at me» like this one. Soprano had this one🤓
