Did you notice? Katarina dances with Gerald, only for Keith to drag her away. Fooling around throws her straight into competing with Alan, which Mary does her best to draw attention away from. In comes Nicol with his good looks and delivers a charmed Katarina to his beloved sister, only for Maria to bring in the snacks and completely steal Katarina's attention from the others. That is both subtle and very well thought out.

What I love about this anime is that the “harem” is just natural, katarina helped everyone ever since she was a child, it isn’t just like the other harems were the girls/boys just come to the protagonists arms. (looking at you sao)

Catarina is the ultimate harem protagonist. She not only gets all the Guys to fall for her, but gets all the girls to turn Lesbian for her too. And in true Harem fashion, she has NO CLUE any of them like her. Though I forgive her for that since shes so obsessed with trying to avoid any death flags that she doesn't realize shes already negated them. The anime is Hilarious and has made me laugh out loud so many times. Definitely one of the best anime of the first half of the year. =^w^=

The fact that this girl is quite literally four parallel universes ahead of everyone and is thus preparing for the inevitable s**tstorm that is going to be magic high school makes this kind of interesting.

Never in a million years would I have ever thought that I would like an anime like this, but this series is just so damn good!

Honestly, Catarina has a massive advantage going for her in preventing her doom. She knows what is coming, and is actually being nice instead of evil. She's already on a much different path than what the game originally was gonna do to her, and I believe she's much safer just with those two factors alone.

This show is about a girl who knew the fates of everyone in her life and turns them on their head, inadvertently making her attractive to them. I mean, if someone makes your life 200% better, how can you not?

I think my favourite little detail in the opening is that at the beginning, when Katarina's harem members are shown for the first time, everyone is either on the left or right side of the screen, except Maria who is in the centre and main protagonist in the original game while others are side characters.

The black hole harem MC is not uncommon in anime, but what's uncommon is that the same MC is highly likeable to pull that off and that the same likeability is the point of the character.

This is the first harm other than ohshc that hasn't got me bored of the story or got to complicated I like anime that doesn't make my brain hurt

I don't know why, but i feel Female MC with Harem are written more compelling than Males MC with harem.

That transition between characters with skips to their future selves was nice, but my favorite part just has to be the beach where her an Aachan are holding hands

The best part I think about this show is that Katarina's Harem is, to me at least, actually plausible. Nobody in the harem is toxic or annoying to their love interest and they're all friends despite their competition, while Katarina herself is so innocent and relentlessly kind to everybody that the fact that everybody she meets falls for her makes sense. I would definitely want a girlfriend as kind as Katarina is, even if she was as screwy in the head as Katarina is (she's incredibly dense, which is the only way she doesn't realize everybody is in love with her).
