I'm literally speechless. This is by far, the the most beautiful, exquisite train layout I've ever seen. So realistic. Keep up the great work!!

You have a very nice and realistic looking layout. You have also given me some idea's by just going over the changes to your model Railroad and the directions that your trains run. Thank You for sharing this information .

Good Luck Sean, I have a small piece I need to replace on my mainline but I have to dig up my station and a few other things so I have been putting it off.

Wow !...What a layout and I got your drift on the reverse situation on the left side...with a right hand point and X crossover you can have choice over inner or outer track

Sean, you may already know this, but if you’re looking a way to create good looking cross bucks, get a roll of woodland scenics N scale roadbed. Measure the width you need and cut it. Split the roadbed piece down the middle and place a piece in between each rail at the crossing. The roadbed is already beveled on the ends and works great in curves as well. Your layout looks awesome!
@seanstraindepot5 жыл бұрын
Good Idea, thanks I will try that.

Beautiful setup, Sean. But with all the panning and zooming I feel it would be much easier on my eyes if you would film this in 60 fps. Your track is so awesome it'd be worth the extra MB.
@seanstraindepot5 жыл бұрын
Yeah it is just a little fixed lens action cam so no features in it. And I can't see the video as I am shooting it, so I know its blurry sometimes from fast panning.
@uncletom19715 жыл бұрын
Pitty. You need a better camera. 60fps would be super.
@seanstraindepot5 жыл бұрын
No I just need to slow down my pans. Only so much money to go around.

Can you tell me about the expense and availability of these materials I want to create a miniature world
@seanstraindepot4 жыл бұрын
It is very expensive. Most of the scenic materials are available no problem. Trains and accessories vary as they are only made in short runs and may never be made again.
@uniteddrones76264 жыл бұрын
How do you make the bends you need with o scale I’m sure it’s been an issue
@seanstraindepot4 жыл бұрын
Well you can only go by the radius of the track you are using, so you just have to have enough layout real estate, or use a lower radius in certain areas.

@Sean's Train Depot - How do people sleep with the TRAIN running so close to their home? That must be dangerous for their pets and children. LOL! Sometimes as the saying goes, LESS IS BETTER.
@grimlockfoc1175 жыл бұрын
You keep saying you couldn't turn the train back around but really you were just refusing to back up the train to turn it around. That's a lot of work just to keep the trains always going forwards, which if you think about it the way you had it before was more prototypical because believe it or not real train do go backwards every once in awhile
@seanstraindepot5 жыл бұрын
Nope, not true. There was no where to back it up to turn it the opposite direction on the mainline. Once I was going 1 direction I could not turn it around to go the opposite direction and that opposite direction had other turnouts to other routes I could not get to. I needed a crossover.
