I agree with you. I just did the same thing with my box and it seem like the high base was louder. It was more clear, but it didn’t hit his hard. It didn’t shake my trunk like it was like I didn’t shake my mirrors like it was it just the base was deeper when they were in the box the low base, so I agree with you

Your box is big enough for regular mounting. I go inverted because I drive a Camaro and my 2 ported boxes are only. 1.75 cu feet each. Subs like 1.90 to 2.0 cu feet. Inverting gets me that bit of extra needed volume. They stay cooler inverted too. 2k watts rms per sub, couple dB doesn't hurt either way. Agreed though, I think it looks more impressive inverted. :)

You have to adjust your port length to account for the increase in box volume. The port is smaller now resulting in a higher tune.

Youve got it backward, the port will stay the same volume because you dont mount subs IN the port, the tuning will go down because the box has more volume

YESSIR THE PORT DON'T MOVE. ITS BETTER TO HAVE A BOX WITH THE PORT ON THE LEFT OR RIGHT NOT THE MIDDLE.

I got the qbomb box for subs the regular one with some skar 12inch subs..invert in the qbomb or not..my box tuned to 40hz so my question is do i stuff it with insulation tryin get down to 35hz n keep em in regular or stuff the box and invert or leave the box stock and invert?any advice be much appreciated

Yea they should but in a qbomb box inverted to me just don't hit the "LOWS" like it did before i mounted them this way.

Idk fam I got a 12in Brutus inverted and I think it's louder than my 12in Q Class L7 that's in traditional both in QBomb boxes I'm thinking about inverting the L7 now lol

I AGREE BUT ALSO TO ADD ON TO WHAT I SAID IN THE VIDEO TO SOME PEOPLE IT SOUNDS THE SAME. OTHER PEOPLE SAY IT DOESN'T. BUT OVERALL IT'S JUST A WOW FACTOR IT JUST LOOKS COOL.

I have 15s in a sealed box that I ported with port tubes..... When they was mounted normal way the acoustics sounded good from the box an was loud with the port tubes..... So I did research an decide I was going to inverted them cuz I believe the box was small cuz it was seal at first so I did...... An damn them bitches hitting an u can feel the air moving 😱 but the down side to my side set is the acoustics changed..... Is not the same sound but it hitting so harder an u can feel it in the air more..... I really don't know which way to go with it but I know what he saying

IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR BOX AND SUBS. MY SKAR ZVX 15'S IS IN A BOX TUNED TO 27HZ AND THEY LOVE INVERTED.

Yes keep same polarity. the only time you need different polarity, is when the sub faces the opposite of each other = one inverted and one normal mounted

NO..... sound is moving air, PERIOD. what you are experiencing is a difference in inner box air volume. if you're gonna invert your subs, you must account for the additional air volume you've now given your box. most easily fixed by adding sections of plywood to the inside of the box to achieve a desired internal volume.
