Love the song, I recently lost my dog of 17 years and it has been the hardest of losses I've ever felt.

I lost a loving, wonderful, kitty last week. At four years old long before his proper time. I'd bravely told my friends "I think I'm through the worst of the bawling over Kolohe." Brought his ashes home today sat down, took a nap, woke up and checked KZfaq: "Ohh Frank posted a new video." Guess I'm was wrong about being done bawling. Thank you Frank.

Remember playing this to mum when you first sent it to me. She cried and loved it, I played it at her funeral 3 years ago. This to me is the most important and heart felt song you have ever written. The meaning and the rawness of losing such a beautiful friend gave us something so very passionate and strong. RIP Buster, gone but never forgotten. RIP Mum. Still missed and loved just as much today. Thenk you my dear friend of many years for so many great memories. Much love always. x

Frank, my wife and I have been listening to your covers and original songs for years now! We hadn’t listened in a few months when, your video came up on my page, and I screamed to my wife, “Frank dropped a new video!” We just recently lost our mutual best friend to suicide around the end of March. I knew him for over 10 years - he was my oldest friend. She knew him for just under 6 years. He was a cornerstone of our lives. And due to the nature of the situation, it has been SO hard to feel the words you sang in this song. Until now. We both shed a tear of hope as you sang this beautiful song for us! I think it is truly amazing how things happen. We listen for years. And when something like this happens, you just happen to upload this masterpiece a few short weeks later. And I know it’s not the original meaning of the song, but it fits uncomfortably well to our situation! So I just want to encourage you, Frank - and anyone else that may have read this and felt something from it - keep doing what you are doing!
