His parents were out of their minds. And when you have a child and you’re raising them there is your responsibility. You do not ask your child to pay you back for raising them. Asking your son to pay you $750 a month to pay back what they spent on you While you were growing up. That is insanity. It is your responsibility as parents.

Yea John’s parents are hypocrites expecting him to pay them for raising him all these years and yet borrow money from the grandmother didn’t pay her back.

When you have a child, you are expected to perform the duties of a parent. If its recompense you desire for doing so, it should be payed back in cherished memories. In the case of the parents struggling financially, it would be a different story if they asked their son if he could help them out or you can charge him for rent since he's now an adult (That is honestly a better way of teaching financial management and adulthood skills if he still lived with his parents at the time). Demanding to be recompensed for being raised is utterly ridiculous because it wasn't the son's choice to be born. It was the parents choice. If they didn't want to be inconvenienced financially... use protection! Apologies, tirade is over.
