Is yours reliable? Had a co-worker tell me they weren’t great. I rented an r/t years ago, when my car was in the shop. Never stopped fantasizing about the car. Wish I’d had the money to buy one then, & now they are hard to find.

@@adamphynes7342 look up 2005 - 2007 rt valve seat failures. They are very common. I had my head built so they fixed it better than Dodge did.

Jesus Christ! I hope it’s the best looking in the world, has paint like glass, and runs 8’s in the 1/4 mile and does 220mph top end! It should also have a wicked sound system and the finest seats possible! Wow! $50k? Air suspension-$5k. Blower-$5k. Diff-$4k paint $10k Sound-$5k wheels and tires-$6k, okay okay I’m getting there maybe I was wrong but it had better be badasssss for that much. And should be on KZfaq helping you recoup that money. Is it?

Check your charcoal canister

It's a recall i have the same issue was told to contact chrysler. for the mean time don't fully fill your tank. It has something to do with an overflow switch that stays open

Its a cheap one from Amazon. I think its called ezlip. I got it thinking I'd use it temporarily until I could buy a nicer one but ended up liking it. And it's held up surprisingly well

Honestly, it was a pain in the butt. You have to use rivnuts. If you do get one I highly recommend getting a specific rivnut tool. I tried making my own and it sucked

@@1chris311 Yea thats out of my 05. I honestly think your making way more than that, I believe the RT magnums came with around 340 stock so you could be around 400 maybe even 420.

@@1chris311 reconnect spark plug cables, by oem cables are crossed around, i reconnected it for ex:on cylinder no5 is only cable from coil that is mounted on cylinder no5

The driveline losses were surprisingly minimal on the LX cars. They made 290+ at the wheels and I think 370 ft/lbs at the wheels. But 400 horsepower with a cold cold air intake and “sparks”? What are sparks? Spark plugs won’t gain you anything more than maybe 5hp, unless comparing to ones that are trash. But no aftermarket spark plug alone will gain any HP. Of you get 5HP it’s most likely for another reason, maybe plug gap, position of the electrode in the chamber after tightening, which is really by luck anyway. And CAIs, well, they’ve been tested, and I think the biggest gains were maybe 20hp and even that was near redline with some LOSES at lower RPMs. They work, but work best before the engine gets hot, so when it’s still cool, you WILL feel a difference. But to REALLY work, they need to be true COLD AIR INTAKES. Meaning no HOT air from the engine compartment. So how do you do that when the only opening is on top, exposed to the engine compartment? HMMMM. Maybe the manufacturers should have thought about that before ripping everyone off. The cone filters do actually make more power that the flat OEM filters though, but sealing out hot air and only allowing air from outside the engine compartment would yield some actual real world gains. But 400 horsepower from a CAI and “sparks”? Dreams are nice. Wake up and they’re gone.
